"Starpaw has already given the fur-ball Yew, it will make him vomit regardless of whether he is awake of not. But depending on how much he had digested i cannot say whether he'll survive or not." Spiderfrost reported and looked back at the tom in her paws.

"But really, didn't his mother ever teach him he shouldn't eat stuff that doesn't look healthy?" she complained.

Moonshade stopped when Fireface did and lifted her dark muzzle, smelling the air for anything unusual. Nothing. She smiled at Fireface and purred, "I'll go to the right to check things out; let's meet here once we're finished." She flicked her tail and turned around to the area where she said she'd take and padded away gracefully, sniffing the border line, and refreshing some of the scent lines that had faded a little. She took one more look around, and blinked her big, indigo eyes. The border seemed quiet and safe.
The dark grey tabby she-cat pricked her ears at a scuffling of tiny paws on the forest floor. Mole. She growled in anticipation and crouched down slowly. She rolled her shoulders, heart beating in the silence. It hasn't noticed me yet... Perfect. She smiled and pounced when it was closer to her. It let out a small squeak of alarm, but Moonshade was quick. She trapped it under her paws and killed it swiftly. She stood, shaking out her soft pelt once satisfied and trotted back to the spot where they'd parted and sat down as she waited, with the fresh-kill lain at her delicate paws. She sat straight and curled her tail around her neatly, licking one paw that was raised up to her face to clean.

Eaglesong shot to Deathrage's defence, "It wasn't his fault! I gave him a vole I caught, it didn't look weird! It wasn't his fault! It was mine.." He said, his voice trailing away. Looking at the almost dead warrior, he had went through alot in his life, and now this. Poor cat. He stared at the Medicine cat in defiance.

|| ~Starpaw~ ||

"Oh!" She meowed as he gagged, and threw-up. "Nasty!" She hissed as she attemped to drag him to a bed of moss, to get himout of the entrance.

|| ~Wolfpaw~ ||

Wolfpaw purred, cuffing her ear as well. "Catch me if you can!" He yowled, running out of the den, and bumping into Dewstorm. "Dewstorm! Oh i'm so sorry! Are you alright?" He said shockingly. "I'm fine!" Dewstorm hissed, staring at him. "Hopefully I can say the sme for my kits!" She hissed again, leaving for the nursery. Sighing, Wolfpaw, looked back to see Wisepaw coming at him.

Once the toms stomach had been emptied of its contents and Starpaw began to drag him into the medicine cats den she turned to Eaglesong with a cold stare.

"The two of you are fully grown warriors, Deathrage should have been smart enough to know with something smells ranside he shouldn't eat it. And you Eaglesong, are right about one thing. It was you who could the vole, so you should have smelt something wrong with it and be weary." Her tail motione to the greenish puddle before them.

"Then we could have avoided this, so dont tell me who to blame when the both of you were at fault." Narrow blue eyes stared at Eaglesong as if asking the tom to continue to argue with her. When she received no reply she turned her figure away from him to walk inside her den.

"If you have nothing else to say clean off your pelt, you reek of whatever it was he ate" she muttered before disappearing.

~eh heh heh...Spiderfrost is so rebelious, its funny to think of her as a good character and medicine cat (= v =)

Eaglesong was speechless, and when Spiderfrost was walking away, he hissed, "Well, how could you smell it with the reek right under your nose? Huh? OH wait, right you wouldn't know, because you rarely leave camp! You blame us for your anger! But all your nice emotions are bottled up inside! You take the first thing you hear and twist it around! I wish it were just Starpaw! She'd understand, listen, oh wait, you can't!" He hissed, fury blazing in his eyes.

Spiderfrost twitched her ears. She left the den to stalk over to Eaglesong and stand in front of him on his level. Her eyes were cold and her voice just over a whisper. The medicine cat held pride for her position as a medicine cat and she wouldn't let some Hare-brained warrior tell her that an untrained apprentice was better suited for the job. She would have to apologize to Starpaw later for thinking of her rudely.

"My atittude might not be something you agree with Eaglesong...but i can assure you that at least I can without a doubt, even if I hated you I would still do everything in my power to save you. I don't need to be kind to you to walk the path that was chosen for me. Starpaw still need her training if she still makes the mistake of letting an unconscious cat eat Yew when they need to vomit." Spiderfrost turned away once more, her tail smacking Eaglesongs face as she went back to her den to work.

~I can can just picture the forbidden romance between those two

Silverstar stepped in between the two cats. "Enough! Both of you! This not what we should be worrying about right now. We should be figuring out what to do about this green stuff and how we should tell the clan." she growled, shooting each of them a glare, mostly at Spiderfrost. Yes she was the Medicine Cat, but she was disrespectful sometimes.

Wisepaw laughed and ran after him. When she got outside, she saw Dewstorm leave angrily and she loped over to Wolfpaw. "What's biting her butt?" she asked, coming to a halt in front of the tom.

Eaglesong stared at her, "You still don't need to criticize me for not smelling it's horrid scent, it's even here in the camp, and we saw the source, think how strong that scent was there? And to catch prey, practically no scent!" He said, swatting at her tail with his claws out. Dipping his head, he stepped back, starring at Spiderfrost.

|| ~Wolfpaw~ ||

"Look at her! She's fat! She should be close to kitting soon, I wouldn't be suprised if it were tomorrow. Plus, the sooner she kits, the sooner I can teach them about my tricks." He growled, spinning around, and tripping Wisepaw, "Gotcha!" He purred.
