Starpaw sorted through the herbs, "Do you think we'll have a queen soon? We need more members," She said to her mentor, Spiderfrost. Half talking to herself.

Eaglesong nodded, then pushed the vole towards him, watching him eat it hungrily, he saw a flash of green as Deathrage tore at it's insides and his eyes widened. "Deathrage!" He yowled, "Don't eat that! It's poisioned! It has the green sl-" He paused, looking at it in horror, "Deathrage! That was tainted!" He yowled, "This is bad! Really bad! You ate the slim, then ate a tainted vole! This is my fault!" He yowled up into the sky. "Don't bring that Water Vole back from where you caught it earlier, Silverstar."

Wolfpaw purred, "Because I saw your beautiful eyes gleaming in the darkness," He stopped himself there, and looked away I'm so mousebrained! I just practically admitted to her that I like her! Maybe even more than like! He scolded himself, and looked back at Wisepaw, "Heh" He grunted smirking, still pinning Wisepaw down.

|| Deathrage ||

Deathrage purred, "Thank you!" He said, grabbing the vole, and tearing at it hungrily, not noticing the slim. It tasted funny, but it was prey, then he heard Eaglesong's yowl, finishing it quickly, he looked up at him in suprise, his eye growing wider, "What!? I ate a tainted vole? I'm a dead tom! Dead!" He said looking up at the tree tops, yowling in despare.

{Well, if he dies then oh no. Also, I'm going to make a queen in a second! Two boys and one girl!}

Fireface nodded and followed after the she-cat. He walked out of the camp entrance and stopped outside. "We can go along the North boarder. We haven't checked that one in a day or two." he mewed and turned towards the boarder. Knowing his sister, she would of taken her patrol some where near the creek bed. It was the best spot to hunt in the morning. So, he lead the way to the North boarder.

Silverstar gasped and ran to Deathrage, forgetting about her vole. "No, no, no! We have to go back now!! Let's go! She was in panic mode now. All that mattered was to get Deathrage back to camp so he can be given an herb to make him throw up what he had just eaten. Not wasting anymore time, Silverstar pushed Deathrage forward and told them both to go back to camp. She brought up the rear once they started running. The amount of fear she felt was so high, her fur was standing on end and her pupils were slits.

She trotted into the lush forest, with her intelligent eyes flitting around at most of the movement around them. She walked beside her clanmate, staying in step with Fireface as they made their way to the border.

Starpaw looked at Eaglesong. "I'll go get some Yew!" She meowed, running into darkness and coming out with leaves. "umm!" She hummed in suprise. Opening his jaws with her paw, she chewed most of the leaves up. Dabbing it into Deathrage's mouth, and rubbed his neck gently, to make him swallow. She looked at her mentor for aproval.[/color]

Dewstorm awoke, yawning, she got a pericing pain in my stomach. Growling, she got up to see it was sunhigh, and she was starving, witch she could guess why. Not bothering to groom her pelt, She walked out of the lonely Nursery and to the fresh kill pile. She found the warmest and freshest prey, and ate it hungrily. Licking her tongue over over her mouth, she was startled by the amount her stomach had grown, and whispered, "Not long untill you meet the world, my presious darlings."

Spiderfrost poked her head outside her den to see what all the noise was about, she scowled at Eaglesong and Silverstar.

"Whats with the racket?" the she-cat hissed with her sharp eyes glancing at her leader.

"Did you ever find out what that horrid scent was?" she looked down at the fainted Deathrage and sighed.

"Did this mouse-brain eating something he wasn't suppose to again?"

Spiderfrost watched her apprentice work, but did not nodded in approval when the right herbs and treatment were given. She sat by Deathrage and tucked her tail over her back paws. Raising a paw she pressed it against the tom to check for a heart beat and to see if his pelt was heating up from a fever.

"Exactly what did the mouse-brain eat?" she asked then motioned for Starpaw to help her lift the heavy tom.

"Starpaw, help me keep his head lifted and facing the ground so he doesn't choke on his vomit. The first thing you should have done was try to wake him before force feeding the Yew. Now we have to make sure he doesn't choke of it while unconscious." the medicine cat told Starpaw as she shifted Deathrage's body.

Fireface kept his good eye on the forest around him as they walk. Soon they came to the boarder. Fireface stopped and scented the air. It all seemed clear here so he renewed the scent markers and waited for Moonshade to check things out for herself.

Silverstar called out for Spiderfrost as well when they got to camp. It was obvious the she-cat wasn't there, neither was Starpaw. Soon enough though, she heard Spiderfrost and relief flooded over her. "He ate a vole tainted with this green slime we found. A mouse was killed by drinking it. But we didn't know the vole was tainted! Don't you have something to make him throw the vole up?" she asked frantically.
