Eaglesong nodded, "Thank-you Silverstar, my opligies, I should have woken up earlier," He said, his embarisment fading, changing the subject he said, "Where will we be hunting?" He asked, walking nesides Deathrage, who seemed to dislike him, Was he jeulious? He thought, pondering.

|| ~Wolfpaw~ ||

Was suprised by Wisepaw's apperence, he hadn't known she was there, "Uh, yeah! Quit well acually, I had a dream were I was chasing a badger out of our territory, and it was leaf bare. So there was lots of snow, and the badger got stuck under snow, and I killed it, and fed the whole clan, so we were strong again. I loved that dream, if only it were real, it included me becoming a deputy, and that won't happen," He said, looking at her, blushing.

Deathrage nodded his head at the braod warrior, he wasn't exactly glad Eaglesong went with them, plus he was late, and he wanted to talk to Silverstar alone, oh well, the time will happen when Starclan wants it too, shaking out of his thoughts, he looked at Silverstar, "Shall we head on?" He said elegantly, tilting his head towards the noble leader.

As Silverstar was leading the patrol deeper into the forest, she thought of some where to hunt. Finally she decided on the dry creek bed on the south boarder and turned in that direction. "We'll hunt by the dry creek bed. There should be lots of prey over there at this time." she told them both. When they reached the creek bed, she stopped and scented the air. There was a water vole nearby digging in the creek bed. Her tail flicked and she dropped into a hunting crouch, leaving the two toms to do what they wish. Silverstar's soft, quiet steps got her closer and closer to the unsuspecting creature. When she was within pouncing distance, she wiggled her haunches and pushed off the ground, bringing her front paws down on the vole's rump. It let out a surprised squeal and she quickly snapped it's neck so it wouldn't call out an alarm. Then she sat by her catch and licked the blood off her claws and paws. When finished she looked up at the two toms and smiled.

Wisepaw giggled and stood up, stretching her limbs. Her tortoiseshell pelt was shimmering in the sunlight that now completely warmed the camp. "Wow! You killed a badger all by yourself? Well aren't you strong! she meowed playfully and dropped into a crouch, I betcha couldn't beat me! There was a challenge in her voice and her olive green eyes dared him to try and fight her. Wisepaw waved her tail in the air and she smiled mischieviously.

Eaglesong purred, "Nice!" He said praisingly at Silvertstar. Eaglesong opened his jaws to smell prey, and smelled something horrid, "What's that?" Eaglesong meowed, sniffing the air again, yep, it was definently there, but what? "I smell something terrible!" He said, looking at Silverstar, then jumping across the dried riverbed to follow the scent.

"OH! You dare chalenge the one who killed a badger? THen it's on!" He said playfully, jumping at the she-cat, missing, he cursed under his breath, and jumped again, this time knocking her on her back, "hah!" He playfully hissed, looking into her beutifuly dazling green eyes.

|| Deathrage ||

Deathrage was in the bushes, about to jump onto a a bunny, then Eaglesong's yowl scared the hare away, "Mousbrain! I was about to get that plump hare! What's so important?!" He hissed, opening his jaws to smell the horrid thing, "Eww! What is that?"

Silverstar's smile faded when Eaglesong said something about a bad smell. She opened her mouth to scent the air. Then, it hit her like a wall of stench. Her nose wrinkled and her ears went back. "Ugh! What is that?!" she hissed in disgust. Her eyes followed Eaglesong as he went to find the source of the stink. Silverstar stood and walked cautiously after him.

Wisepaw growled playfully and jumped to her paws. She narrowed her eyes and pounced on Wolfpaw, pinning him on his back. She had both paws on his chest and she got close to his face. Her eyes were soft and shining in the sunshine as she looked him in the eyes for a moment. Then, she put her mouth to his ear and whispered in a sweet voice, "Got ya." Wisepaw giggled and pawed at his nose playfully. "Told ya you couldn't beat me!" she meowed and flicked her tail back and forth.

Eaglesong wrinkled his nose in discust, "Oh Starclan! What is this?" He yowled, knowing they were getting closer to the thing, because the smell only was getting worse, what in Starclans' name was this? There's never been anything like it!

|| ~Wolfpaw~ ||

Wolfpaw grinned, "Oh really?" He said, pushing her off to get on top of her, but instead they stated rolling down the slightly tilted camp. "Hah!" He said, though being frightened they'd fall right into the thorn barrier.

|| Deathrage ||

Deathrage snorted, and followed slowly behind Silverstar. "Why are we going TO the smell?" He hissed in agervation. He didn't favor Eaglesong, her was so perfect and he wasn't.

Silverstar stopped and watched Eaglesong go ahead. Deathrage made a good point, but wouldn't it be best to figure out what was causing the stench? She turned to Deathrage and meowed, "It would be best to find out what the smell is, wouldn't it? If it's a danger to the clan, I want to know what it is." Determination now shone in her pretty blue eyes and she continued onward to the stink.

Wisepaw giggled again and put out her paw to stop them from rolling. She ended up on the bottom this time and the way she was made her be stuck under Wolfpaw. Wisepaw looked up at Wolfpaw and smiled brightly. "Ok, ok, you got me. We're lucky to have a strong cat like you!" she purred sweetly and reached up to lick his cheek.

{ Hmm, I dunno. Something dead would be good because of how bad it smells XD But what would be dead? }

Eaglesong wrinkled his nose again, "How far can it be?" He said hissing, "It's already so stinky!" He said, walking slower.

Wolfpaw jumped off, 'No, no, a good warrior admeets deafeet and accepts it, I'm a bad warrior, your the deputy this time," He said, purring, bowing, he said in a playful way, "My noble Wisestar, may I come in to your den? Your are a noble leader after all!" He said, hiding his blushing from her lick.

Deathrage snorted, looking around, "Hey, but this place is full of prey, maybe we could hunt? Who knows how much farther we have to walk, I can't even see the dried up creek bed anymore," He said, trying to sniff past the horrid snench.

{Or a spilled can of green liquid from twolegs? And it like affects the prey around it, and an illness spreads?}

Spiderfrost left camp awhile ago in search of more Chamomile, her current stock was getting old and less fragrant. The medicine cat hadn't a clue where Starpaw was and didn't feel like wasting her time trying to find the apprentice when she could be retrieving herbs. She would ask about her whereabouts in the evening.

"Where is that Chamomile..." she hissed annoyed, her tail lashed about behind her. There had been this awful scent in the air and while it wasn't as strong where she was at it hindered her ability to scent out the sought after herb.

Starpaw walked with her jaws filled up with leaves and herbs, she couldn't smell anything with the herbs in her mouth. Suddenly she bumped into her mentor, gasping, she dropped her bundle, "Oh no! Oh, hiya Spiderfrost! Sorry!" She said, grabbing her herbs again into her mouth. She loved being an apprentice.

The medicine cat walked along until Starpaw crashed into her. She looked down at the scattered herbs, then to her apprentice.

"There you are Starpaw, I see you were gathering something useful. Did you see any Chamomile on your way, this bothersome, rancid-like stench is getting in the way since Chamomile has such a light scent to it."" The she-cat grumbled and helped to regather the herbs that Starpaw had kindly gathered.
