Have a show on Saturday.
Gem has been really good.
We're getting out canter leads a lot easier now.
Also, she isn't so fast at the canter.
I barely have to half halt her ^^
Today, I actually had to give her leg so she wouldn't break into the trot <3
Have a few more videos from the show if anyone wants to see them....

Dolphinlover~ wrote:scene_kid wrote:@dolphin. My suggestion is think of the word push. So push your butt back and push your hands foward in one movement. Thats what I teach I shout push at them when they jump and after a while they get that so then I work on leg but your leg is fine. Going to far foward is a really common fault but one that can be quite unbalancing for the horse. From the flat your jump position should just be an inch max out of the saddle and rotation through the hips no moving foward, back or anything. Just push over the jumps.

I will try to remember that. Just to think of the word push everytime I jump :3 I am hoping after a while of practicing it will just come to me xD Thanks <3 Yeah I guess I am being picky about my leg because it isn't too bad. It is? That's interesting...that makes me feel better about it too, at least I'm not doing something too bad. I will try to work on that. I guess I will just have to remember to not get too far out of the saddle and just fold a little bit at the hips. I think I am getting too far forward because I feel like I "need" to over the bigger jumps...I am going to try my best to work on that this weekend! Thanks so much for the help

I really appreciate it ;D
When you jump 6-7 foot or 1.5 meters maybe but what you need to think is yes your horse next needs to lift up his butt but your on his neck so his front may come down quicker and take the jump out with his fronts.
Your leg is fine just your butt on the wrong place, your feet are fine well done done for not having duck feet

btw Mandy-Lou22 is soooo amazing wanna give her a massive hugalso thank you to Asura for giving me my dream petalso thank you to AiraSkylar for giving be the 08 advent of my dreamsanother thank you to ~Amberleaf~ who gave me 3 free rares!

Just a super quick update on my competing thing. Tank's origanle rider is ment to be coming back on him now so he's out but it's okay. D told me to bring Donny down not the Tuesday coming but the one after (because of no lessons except for my Monday night one due to year 10 horse camp) and try him then. That week will be his big huge testing week. He's going to come downon Monday so I can use him in my lesson, then D was going to try him on Tuesday and put him through his paces. I'm not sure if Im jumping him or D is though. Hopefully he works it out and the smalles class is like 45-55/60 cm and I think he should be able to make it over those tiny jumps in the 2 and a bit months we have. If Donny doesn't quiet get it and we don't think he'll be ready we got a new schoolie who might be an option. His name is Beau Hunter and he is absolutely adorable! I really want to ride him XD I'll see if I can get a video of Donny brig risen and some more pics seeing as I haven't really shown you guys any. Maybe some of Tank and Hunter next time I see him :3 We have so many adorable horses and I wish I could show you pictures ofthem all XD Glad I have an excuse to video though XD Were doing movie maker in Ict class and need our own videos XD

I think scene got the foot measures bit wrong... 6 ft would be like 1,8 meters and 7 ft would be 2,1 meters, I believe only puissance(high jumping) classes go that high. 1,5 meters would be tiny bit under 5 ft.
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...
