This is a private roleplay between Swiftalu and I. You should know not to post on it, but I state it anyway.

~ You must have knowledge on pokemon, pokemon battles, and some pokemon moves. I can't allow people who don't know much about pokemon RP because it may be confusing to them.
~ No Fakemon in this RP, other the mutated pokemon

~ No god-playing; your pokemon can and will get hurt.
~ No mary/gary sues.

~ Max Level is 100, starting level is 10.
~ Limit of six pokemon in your person at one time, more can be stored in the PC Box.

Plot;
Swifty's character (F) is from the city, mine (M) from the country. Starting their journey, traveling with their first pokemon. Did they know the challenges they would face? They relationships they would build? Only time will tell...

Personality:
Gale is a very caring person, always putting others before himself. Gale is usually very wise and guides others. He is always open for a chat to anyone feeling left out. He appears to be reserved, which he basically is. He, however, is just waiting for someone to stick around and get something out of him. In his mind, if you do this, you're more than likely worth his time instead of other people. If you show this interest, he is probably going to talk to you more than others and agree on things with you as he can be rather kind to those who take their time with him.

He has a good sense of humur, trying to find the best and make light of any situation that is handed to him. Under his light exterior, Gale is very competative. He pushes to the limit, but knows his and his pokemon's limits, and does not exceed them without approval. His competetive side often leads to unmatched fights, him on the lower end, and he gets into trouble alot. With the law, and with everyday people. <3
History:
Gale was left as a baby, in a small town where no one cared. His teenage mother, just left him with an elderly couple. Gale was raised as their own, but wants more in life. He wants to find his family, and his place.

Andrea is an adventurous girl that loves to explore everything in her sight, sometimes. She can be reckless also when not knowing the danger that could be ahead but can be calm and sit still. When people provoke her and her Pokemon, she will respond with a battle, as she just loves to battle lots of other trainers. She is mostly a care-free happy go lucky girl.

Andrea mostly looks forward to traveling with a friend of some sort, someone she can talk to when bored or when she needs help and advice on her Pokemon. She is quite eager to find someone that just triggers her. When down, she can be quite shy and not her confident self.
History:
When Andrea was little, she had to move away from home, due to some Pokemon roaming the village. She was quite sad to leave the suburbs and ended up in the city where her personality changed majorly.

[i]*Bring! Briiiing!* The alarm clock across the room sounded, ringing out to the early morning. Sun barely peeking over the trees, basking the bedroom in a dim glow. Gale grumbed loudly, tossing the pillow over his head to block the noise. Still, the clock's abnoxious noise filled his ears. Gale grimaced, launching his pillow across the room and onto the desk. Items scattered everywhere, then silence. Gale smiled, snuggling down in his bed comfortingly.

The silence was shortlived, however. He could hear Sophie's sweet voice calling himdown, saying something about a big day ahead. Gale ignored her, until William could be heard rustling around. [i]Oh no..[i] Gale thought, bracing for the impact. A loud rustling, and he was yanke from the bed, flopping to the floor. "Poliwhirl...get off of me!" Gale shouted, pushing te pokemon off. He reluctantly began to get ready.

Gale skipped down the steps, grabbing an apple as he quickly made his wa to the door. "Uh uh Gale...Pack.." Sophie reminded, her soft face warming up, though she was on the verge of tears. "You are seeing me off Sophie..I am gonna see you in ten minutes.." Gale murmured, taking the pack. "We know Gale..but its the first day of the rest of your life. We are proud. These fifteen years..We love you, son.." William said, shaking Gale's free hand. Gale gulped, looing into the faces of his guardians. Parents. Not by blood. "I love you guys too. But I am late. See you in a bit!" Gale said, rushing to the lab.

Andrea lay in her bed sleepily, hugging the pillow to her head softly. She then felt a soft tongue touch her face and smiled. "Stop, just stop" she laughed silently then her eyes flew open to see a Vulpix in front of her. "Oh no! I did it again!" Andrea said, flying out of bed and running out the door, the Vulpix watching her go off in such a rush. Andrea quickly slid down the stairs, almost tripping, and flew past her mother and father quickly, in a very big rush still.

She quickly ran back to where her parents were, this time dressed nicely with her hair neat and tidy instead of being a bed head with pajamas on. She smiled at her mother and father and then grabbed a banana and sandwich quickly and latched on a sack her parents had gotten for her big day. She had longed for this day ever since she was young and was excited for the day to finally arrive. She almost rushed out the door but quickly turned around. "Goodbye mother, goodbye father!" she quickly said and then crouched down and stroked the Vulpix's well-groomed coat. "I'll miss you especially Vulpix" Andrea said, trying to hold back her tears as the Vulpix cried out softly. She then stood up and raced out the door, freedom in her grasp.

Gale hastly made his way through the small town, hastiy attempting to avoid the eye of anyone as he did. The bad thing about living in a small town; Everybody knew everone. Gale was stopped at least five times, recieving congrats about the events today. He eventually had gotten so fed up, Gale just bolted for the labratory door.

Gale swung the labratory door open, shutting it forcefully behind him. He rested aginst the door, closing his eyes abdbreathing out a sigh of relief. "You know Gale, it will only get worse when you leave." a light voice chuckled, and Gale opened an eyelid to see the head assistant, Joanna, smiling down at him. "Oh joy.." Gale murmured, but broke out into a grin."

"So, where is the Professor?" Gale asked, following Joanna to a small, round platform near the back of the labratory. "Oh, he had to make an urgent trip to the city. Another lucky soul as yourself is getting their first pokemon today." she replied, taking a tray over to him. Gale looke to it, past it, to the bright red okeball the rested there. "Well Gale, g on. He picked it just for you." Joanna smiled, and Gale slowly took it in his hands.

Gale was amazed as the ball began to shake immedtately, as if the pokemon was yearning for freedom. Gale flicked the ball in the air, watching a bright light form from it, and the shape of a tiny pokemon apper on the floor. Curled in a tiny ball, which could be heard snooring, was a baby Cyndaquil. "Well look at that..he likes to sleep like you.." Joanna chuckled, an Gale shot her a look as he bent down. "Hey little guy.." Gale said, patting its head. Cyndaquil squeeked, puffing smoke in his face happily. Gale coughed, scooping up his new bundle. "Thaks Joanna!" he called happily, heading for the door.

Andrea raced to the Professor Elm's lab, running at a speedy pace, until she tripped and fell. "Oh great..." Andrea muttered, getting up and brushing herself off. She made sure everything was in tip top shape and continued to race down to the lab. She was excited about getting her Pokemon, but she was quite a long way from the lab. She then stopped at a sign, pointing to two different towns in the Johto region. She looked carefully and thought for a minute. "Now which town was Professor Elm's lab in?" Andrea thought and tapped her head for a minute. "Oh yeah! New Bark Town!" Andrea almost squealed. She chuckled for a moment and then shot straight up. "No time to lose! Got to head to New Bark Town!" She said, smiling and raced down the pathway.

She finally arrived at a town after running down the path for at least 10 minutes. She gasped and lay down on the ground to catch her breath. "Finally made it....." She breathed, sitting up to see the sign that said "Welcome to New Bark Town!" She smiled once again, finally catching her breath and stood up, seeing a few grass tufts on her skirt and brushing them off quickly. She walked past the sign and breathed in the air. "New Bark Town, finally I get my Pokemon." She said, looking around curiously. She was still on focus to get to the lab, but she loved to be curious about new places as well.

[Pengu.]

Gale couldn't have been happier. His face had lit up, looking down to the tiny pokemon in his arms. Cyndaquil had fallen back asleep in his arms, snooring loudly; a tiny bubble forming on his nostril. Gale had to stop a home before leaving. He just had to.

When he arrived, he was greeted by Sophie and William, and Poliwrath (._.), of course.... They were so proud of him, and even tears were shed. Ocasional neighbors stopped by to offer their congrats as well. It seemed as if Gale never could even find a out to leave. Though, the excitement died down. Gale kissed his 'parents' goodbye, and with Cyndaquil in hand, began the walk out of town.

As he neared the edge of town, he noticed a girl standing there. Looking, very out of place. Prim and proper, definately from the city. Why was she in his tiny town then. Oh well. Gale shrugged, stepping past her with just a nod for a greeting, and began to take to the forest.

Andrea didn't seem to notice Gale giving her a silent greeting and just kept on walking towards the lab. She was a bit lost, but found a map around the town. "Ah! So that's where I go!" Andrea whispered to herself silently, pointing to the lab on the map and following a route to where she was. She nodded and headed through the route she had seen until she caught a glimpse of the lab. Andrea smiled happily and almost raced in, but didn't as that would seem out of order and rude, even if she was excited.

Andrea walked up to the lab, seeing how tall it was. She looked at the sign and nodded. "This is it..." Andrea said quietly and placed her hand on the door. She slowly opened it and peeked in. "H-hello?" Andrea said through the door, not wanting to be rude in front of the Professor if he was there. She slowly walked in and closed the door behind her, staring at all the Poke balls around her that were filled with Pokemon. "Wow..." Andrea breathed.
