[Veins Of Opal]

Lucien chuckled as she was now the one hovering over him. She was merely half his weight. He gave a mischievous smirk, wrapping his legs around her waist and throwing her off of him with his legs. He rolled over to her, pinning her down by her wrists. "How badly do you want to lose?" he chuckled, smirking triumphantly, strands of his hair falling out of his tie, giving him a sort of rough, handsome look.

He and Allison used to wrestle around like this, too.

Sigma found herself in a familiar situation, wrists pinned and nowhere to go. Except last time she'd desperately wanted to escape and she'd headbutted Lucien. She squirmed for a moment, trying to get loose, before she gave up, rolling her eyes. She lifted her head so that her lips were right next to his ear and murmured, "As many times as it takes to see you smile like that again." She'd never seen Lucien like this. And if she had to get pinned to the ground to see it again and again, that was fine with her.

Lucien was still, silent for a moment. She wanted to see him smile? He leaned down, whispering back to her. "Why?" he asked in a particularly amused tone. He still hovered above her, knees on both sides of her, pinning her wrists. He gave her a suave smirk, like the night at the Casino. This was amusing him greatly. He knew she was still his target, but it wasn't as if he was doing anything that would affect that, right...? He was just.. entertaining himself. Yes, that's what it was.

Sigma dropped her head to the grass and looked up at him, taking in his expression. She'd seen at least three different smiles from Lucien ever since she'd started the fight: cocky, mischevious and amused. And now this. This... this suave little grin that she could help but grin back at. And he asked why he should smile? Because it was beautiful. But would she tell him that? Heck no. "...Why ever not?" she finally answered, her smile softening as she watched his face.

"Because, I'm supposed to be cold-blooded and evil." Lucien chuckled, his mysterious eyes watching her as he shifted above her, his face a few inches from hers. He could see her examining and taking in his features, and it amused him even more. She was fascinating and, of course, amusing. Entertaining. And it was all so painfully familiar. He just gave another smile, awaiting her reply and not showing any signs of moving.

Sigma let out a ragged breath, feeling drawn to Lucien like a magnet. Thank heavens she was pinned, or who knows what she would've done. She could feel the faint whisp of Lucien's breath against her face with his own at such a nerve-wrackingly close proximity to hers. Was he doing this on purpose? "...Even the cursed have the right to a smile, Lucien," she replied, her voice soft.

"Now I'm cursed?" Lucien chuckled, loosening his grip on her wrists, allowing her the chance to be able to get up, though he didn't move himself away fully. He could tell there were thoughts buzzing through her mind at 100 miles a minute, judging by the look in her eyes and her expression. He gave another smirk, tilting his head to the side slightly.

Sigma rolled her eyes with a smirk. "I never said you were cursed," she said with an exasperated sigh. She saw the extreme amusement in his face and wanted to slap him. He was doing this on purpose, wasn't he? He was toying with her, she was convinced of it. She slipped her wrists out of his slackened grip and wriggled halfway out from under him. "Though, I wouldn't be surprised if I were cursed, getting stuck with someone as stubborn and butt-headed as you." With a smirk she lifted her bent legs and then kicked them out, landing a firm blow to his chest and sending him backwards. Ha. Revenge. "There," she said as she crawled away from him and then stood. "Now I win."

Lucien gave an 'umph' sound as he fell backwards, and he chuckled, getting to his feet and dusting the dirt off of him. "No, I let you win." he smirked, rolling his eyes as Shadowmere gave an amused smirk, also reminding him that they needed to get going.

Sigma ran a hand through her hair and glanced over at Lucien with a sceptical smirk. "A win's a win, no matter how you put it." She followed Lucien's glance to Shadowmere and understood. They'd wasted daylight during their fight. No doubt Lucien would want to leave a.s.a.p. She straightened the loose fitting shirt out and dusted off the backs of her sweats before starting towards the horse.
