I love the use of lighting on your piece. o3o
Here's a good tutorial on drawing scales. c: Use the advice that is provided on it when drawing dragons (or any scaly creatures).
You've drawn the wings as if there is no bone supporting them, even if a dragon is a mythical creature it still does need a skeletal structure. (Especially in their wings!) The membrane of the wings should be further down the dragon's back so that it would be able to stay in the air. Link. It's for gargoyle wings, but still has heaps of good points. c:
thanks for the advice i will defently use that.
I did the wings like that on purpose just because i love exatrating wings some times and i just was in the mood to do that then.
I also felt that if by doing that i took up a lot of empty space that would be there.

I believe that you can just go into the folder that it is in now, go into the drop down menu and select to remove it from the folder. It'll still be in the general browsing area then, and able to move once more.

Sorry if it is small, again, phone. :c
Bring the top line of the neck, right behind the skull, lower. You made it seem as if their head and neck are slender like a Doberman pincher's. Enlarge the ears a bit as you pull them up also pull the back of them back.

Man, it's been a long time since I've actually posted some art here. xD
So here's someee 8D --

My OC, Donny. Wanted to really work on defining his clothing some more today. Also changed the scar on his forehead some, bringing it down farther into his brow.

Some sketchy painting of Amaterasu from one of my favorite video games, Okami.

Painting of Naga from The Legend of Korra.

Oh my gosh, that is amazing, Alexander. I just saw the Avengers last night, making this doubly awesome.

More background attempts, practically killed me this time. Any tips would be awesome. The whole thing has been tinted at 10% yellow, basically because our resident family artist told me it would look better. I'm ridiculously proud of the water. I know it sucks, and in a year I'll look back and say it looks like reflective jello, but I'm happy with it for now. Characters not mine, done on commission.
if my art shop is closed, DA commissions are always open

@Muggafinn- your back round is lovely. I love the colors and how dark and pretty you made it. I don't really have crits for the back image, but You're shading is a tad bit off.
The way you shaded (with light streaks) makes your fur look unnecessarily shiny and it doesn't look like fur rather then a shiny object (such as plastic). I think that maybe blending the shading in a bit where it's less defined it'd look a bit better c:
And also, since your back round has the simple-complex effect (where it looks complex and detailed, but you didn't spend like hours on every single detail) that your shading should have as much detail so it sort of balances out the realism.
On a note about specific details, I think it's be nice to add some of the yellow glowing to the red cat's face since the fire-fly is so close to her/him. But that's my opinion because i am a huge fan of the effect that glowing has on shading :3
Susiron- Hello c:
Your art is as amazing as it was when I had my old account. The only really crit I have (which is something I also noticed when I used to look at your old art) but your feline faces look a bit off. You can tell it's a feline of course, but your cat muzzles seem too long.
I've never been a good feline artist, although I own two cats who are amazing references :p
Oh and I love your painting of Naga!
Alex- You are like the most amazing human artist I've ever seen. I have o real crit really. But I do love how cartoon-y and realistic it looks c:
Tybalt- I can't give you a red-line since I am not the best horse artist.
But It's very nice. I have to say though the chest is shaped a little weird. I think it'd help if it was flatter. And if the neck was thinner.
I don't have any art I want shown right now, but all you're drawings are amazing guys, keep it up O:
This is a dead account c:
Whoever does the deactivating can do it now.
