More now...
Hey, J, do you think it's normal to have voices in your head telling you they're the Easter Bunny and the Birthday Kangaroo? I don't think it is, but who knows?
I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten since around 12 o clock on Tuesday(midday, not midnight), and everybody is pretty much starving. If anybody had any food, it was swallowed in one, dry gulp. We're dying in here. Literally dying.
Cody, can we have some water? I called through the peephole we found in the door.
No.Please. Indy looks sick.I don't feel well. Please, give us something. I glanced pitifully at Josie, lying in the corner, her orange fur matted and dull. Mum closed her eyes and groaned.
Ok, we'll give you something! His voice was laughing. The door opened and water was chucked in from a bucket. the door slid shut, and voices laughed outside. I blinked, my whiskers dripping wet.
So what do we do now?As if Cindy's voice had broken a barrier (probably the gateway to insanity), we all crowded around the pool, lapping it up. I gave a small, content sigh. Even if I was crazy, I had water!
We drank until we could drink no more. We all knew the water wouldn't be there in the morning, and we made the most of it.
Indy was moaning.
Mummy, I don't feel well. I think I may be sick.Mum looked worried and led her over to the hole in the corner of the truck. You really don't wanna know what we use it for

)
Anyway, Indy began to choke. She threw up bile into the hole and onto the floor below. I closed my eyes. What if we all get sick? What if it gets so bad we die? I don't want to die!
Looking around the shadowy truck, I realised how bad the situation was. Our pelts were dull and matted. We hadn't had a bite of food in days. We were ill and tired, sentenced to exile far north of all countries and kingdoms.
I realised how many of us will die.
I counted us all: Mum, Dad, Cindy, Indy, Me, Book, Jessica, Josie and Aaron. Nine of us at the start of our journey.
How many will be left at the end?
This is not part of the entry, but all originality for the Birthday Kangaroo goes to my best friend.
Oh my god, the Birthday Kangaroo's coming!
