He let out a happy sigh and laid his forhead on shoulder. "You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now." Alec laughed, his eyes closing slightly and a grin tugging at his cheeks. Even with the scent of blood still fresh in his head, he just wanted to sleep. The thought of it- pure, blissful, sound, safe. . . A though struck him and tensed a little. His arms around Lew went rigid, against the fact he was trying to release the thought that had found its way inside his head. It stuck though, taunting him like a chicken taunted a dog. He stared at the fabric on the collar of her shirt, his left hand drawing back from around her back. Rolling the fabric between his index finger and thumb, Alec tried to not let her know anything was wrong. The arm around her relaxed again, his eyes kept to a soothing calm, and his face was a complete mask to any emotions that might try and become known. "I- I think I'll be fine. Thanks for the offer though," He lifted his head off her shoulder and a smile touched his lips. "You'll still be there though- when I wake up. Right? You won't vanish?" The thought voiced itself, and a guilty look crossed his face that he might even think she would ditch him there by the building while he slept. His worry was building though, and as his mind worked out scenarios of outcomes of when he woke up, Alec was only coming up with ones where Lew was gone. "I'm just- I'm scared you'll be gone the moment I fall asleep. Like a figmant of my imagination, a puff in the wind that had all been a dream. I don't want this to be a dream, I want this," He circled his index finger to indicate them, then softly brushed his lips across hers. At first he stayed there, lips poised against hers before he drew back and stared into her eyes. "to be a dream," Alec finished, his voice rather deep in his ears. Would she think him crazy for wanting to make sure she would still be around when he woke up, or would she just reassure him that she would?

She'd been fine with everything thus far, the scales appearing along his arms and face, the cat-like eyes, the odd silver color of them, how his fingers had started to web together, but flattery? Liz most deffinetally wasn't prepared for that now of all times. "Please don't, not now and not ever." Gritting her teeth she ignored his rather odd teeth and the fact that he was still holding her rose. He was still wounded and she was still the only one without a reason to be in pain. Softly she pulled the cloth strips from his side away and tried to get a better look at them now that the sun was starting to rise more in the sky. Her mind was still touchy about his earlier comment, she didn't warn him when she started to gently press around the area. Hopefully it wasn't stiff or enflamed at all. Sliding her fingers a few inches away from the cut she gradually pressed harder and brought her fingers closer together. For now, he seemed to be in pretty good shape other then for the fact he was starting to turn into some other reptillian creature. "I can't treat that now, it's too big and I don't have any supplies. Plus? I'm not a doctor or even a nurse. We can get you back to the labs if that works?" Elizabeth turned kept her eyes on his wound, leaving the side open for a bit of airflow to reach it. Plus having some new pain wouldn't give him access thoughts of her, or so she hoped. Her brown eyes took in every detail of the scenery around them before landing again on his side, still refusing to look into his eyes again. Though the landscapes around them were beautiful- the lush greens and bright colors of flowers, it was amazing but she couldn't really appreciate it with someone in pain right in front of her. It just wasn't fair.
