"He's in that direction." Aobara directed with his head towards the trees off behind him and Mizuiro, turning his mount around towards them and nudging it's sides with his heel into a walk. "Not far, actually. He was just going to investigate something." He didn't elaborate because honestly he didn't have much of a clue what he was even really investigating. Not for certian anyway though he had a few hunches.
---------------
As Ada greeted him he simply dipped his head in return. Not only was his hair matching a fox's, though it would not be so visible, but his eyes were a dark olive green as well, not quite the same emerald as that of a red fox but close. He listened silently as Ada made a request to accompany them and shrugged.
"Sure, it'd be no trouble. I already know my companion wouldn't mind." He had noticed her wandering gaze and guessed that she was already aware of Aobara and his mount. Her eyes may have been sharp but he liked to think his own were close to unrivalled and he was very vigilant. Almost nothing escaped his attention. "Plus it's a big place. It'd be easy to get lost even if you'd been there before." Granted a flying mount would give her an advantage in that regard if she needed to find her way out but finding the places she needed would be another matter. "Plus we're not staying long either."
He notices the fact that Ada's mount towers above his own but his own, Forest, doesn't seem too intimidated and for the most part relaxed since Zah isn't acting at all threatening. He turned Forest towards where he last saw Aobara and silently wonders if he'll even see them coming. Granted it'd be hard to miss such a snow-colored mass moving through the darkness and plants but Aobara's sight is far less impressive than his own and silently the red-haired young man smirked slightly at the thought. The pair were basically polar opposites and yet they had a strong friendship, one that he wouldn't trade for anything.
"Anyway, my companion is somewhere this way." He directed, nudging Forest into a trot.

Ada feels a wash of relief flow over her as Fox agrees to let her and Zah accompany him and his companions into the city. "Thank you very much, Ustaaz Fox. Both Zah and I are very grateful. We're not planning on staying long either, just long enough to resupply." Zahraa turns with Forest as Fox moves his mount a bit, seemingly with no word or gesture from Ada. There is no way an avian with such a long neck, not to mention smooth beak could ever wear a bridle, thus he lead lines are hidden beneath her feathers along with the riding harness. It would be useless to use verbal commands, as they could never be heard over the roaring wind when in flight. Instead, the leads travel along beneath Zahraa's wings, four of them in total, giving instruction about everything from pitch, yaw and roll to speed and direction under Ada's skilled hands. Thus it would appear to an outsider that Ada and Zahraa move as one, sharing one mind. Grounded now though, it is a much simpler type of communication, rider and mount sharing the same intent, and Zah will follow Forest without further instruction.
Thus it is silently that Ada follows Fox, Zah easily keeping up with the trotting dragon. Out of the dense trees, the kyte is much more in her element, long legs eating up the ground at an easy pace. It is obvious that she would be as swift and efficient a mount on the ground as she is in the sky, assuming there is enough room for her bulk. Which leaves the interesting question: Just how well is she going to maneuver in the crowded city? It will be a new experience for them both, and Ada ponders this a bit as they move. At Fox's word, she glances back out onto the horizon, the darkness has filled in the contrast of sky, and the shadowy figures she has just barely been able to see earlier are now invisible. "Ah good, so they are with you. Zah spotted them earlier, but she didn't seem to worried about those other two riders, so I figured they were your companions." She says, squinting into the dark as they approach.

Sanaii nodded, though she doubted that Aobara could actaully see her the night's darkness covered everything in a veil that made it hard to see much. Narrowing her eyes she managed to pick out the fuzzy shapes of a dragon rider and another person who appeared to be riding something quite monsterous. Directing Ryce with a gentle tap of her heels she positioned him so he walked steadily behind Aobara's mount. Turning she saw that Cailen seemed disinterested and not keen on following along. "Cailen, come!" the sharp command caused the worg pup to start a bit and quickly jog over to walk next to Ryce. Though he was always pushing Sanaii's buttons, seeing how far he could take things, when he heard her use that praticular voice he knew it was time to listen.
Drawing closer she felt herself grow apprehensive. Aobara didn't seem to be the type given to treachery, he was to mild mannered and socially ackward to be a good trickster. However she had yet to avaluate this other companion. And then there was the third person. Seeing as Aobara had said that he was only traveling with one other person she was curious to as who this last person was. Prehaps it was the person she had seem crash landing just a little while ago.

Fox can't help but notice the way Ada's bird moves without command. At least not verbal and his keen eyes idly glance over searchingly. It's difficult to see but he noticed a line travelling all the way up, teathered all the way up by straps around the bird's neck here and there. It really was basically the same as a dragon's reins but more efficient for the bird's longer, more spindly neck. He knew from experience with smaller birds that they didn't have strong necks as opposed to his dragon mount. Using the same reins as he did with Forest, especially if someone jerked them too fast or far or in just the right manner, could very well snap it's neck. Being rather intelligent and perceptive, he could tell that it was probably a complicated system of communication.
He also noticed the fact that the avian is no slouch on ground. Some types of birds are but this one could definatley be built to run with almost the same ease as most dragon mounts. He was sure Ada's choice in mount was definately no accident, it seemed the perfect combination to him. Of course the bird is also taller and wouldn't be able to move through dense or compact forest as his dragon would be able to so which was where his mount was better suited.
Which he preferred to open area's for the most part anyway.
"Well one of them is. I don't actually know about the other." He admits, idly waving his hand at them in greeting. His companion doesn't seem to catch the hint - well actually he probably just can't see it with his terrible eye-sight - and Fox lowered his and shook his head. "Blind as a bat, I swear." He muttered under his breath. "Ao! Over here you half-blind Pansy!" He calls. Despite that he can't see it he imagines the other male wearing a disapproving scowl in response to his words and can't help but smirk slightly because of this.
----------------
Aobara noticed that Sanaii seemed uncomfortable but he figured it was understandable, having no qualms about her riding behind him though Mizuiro turned his head to gaze back at the other dragon every so often, being a little less comfortable with it than his rider. He barely could see the white thing coming towards them - even with his terrible eye-sight he can see that, he isn't that blind - but apparently Fox thinks so because he heard the red-head calling to him and scowled.
"Okay, no he's just being a jerk." He mutted to himself, loud enough for Sanaii to hear anyway as they approached. Were he of a less mild nature he might have retorted something back but he didn't, gazing over at his newfound companion. "Excuse him. I'd be sure he was raised by wild animals had I not known him when I was younger." He said in something of a joking manner to the rider behind him.

Ryce was unhappy about being stuck walking behind this new, and in his mind, lesser dragon. However Sanaii knew him all to well and kept him in check with small, gentle corrections of the reins. Finally accepting that he was not going to be allowed to pass he lessened his stride and in turn Sanaii loosened her grip on the reins. She still wished that they could have flown on straight to the capital but, then again things were often more interesting when you had companions. She was very hesitent to even think the word friends, for her these were rare creatures that rarely stayed around long.
Slightly started by the sudden shout that emanated from the two shadowly figures ahead of them she felt a slight grin spread on her face as she listened to what the voice said. In the space after the shout she felt the grin turn inward and try and bubble up into a laugh. Raising one hand, while keeping the other holding the reins, she tried to cover her mouth to hide the laugh that left her throat. "He seems to be a very interesting fellow." she said in reply to Aobara "If I little rough." the knowledge that they had known each since they were young for some reason made her less anxious. Prehaps she believed that as a child Arobara would not have made friends with the wrong sort of crowd.

Ada can't help but grin as Fox calls out to his companion, and she lifts a gloved hand up to her face to stifle a giggle before it slips out. The exchange reminds her of the way she used to talk to the other kids on the port when she was growing up, that comfortable familiarity that makes even an insult fun. They must have known each other for a long time... She thinks, still smiling a bit behind her veil during the ensuing quiet as Ao declines to answer.
Though Ao's conversation with the other rider doesn't reach her ears, it appears as though Zah picks up a bit of it because the bird's ears flick forward in curiosity and she picks up her pace a bit, to pull up alongside Forest. Silver eyes open wide and pupils so large you can see yourself deep in her eyes, Zah peers out into the darkness for a moment before letting out a happy sounding chortle. She then shakes out her feathers and glances back at Ada before looking back into the dark. "Zah, what are you doing?" Ada says quietly to her mount. She can feel the bird's growing excitement beneath her, and she has to pull Zahraa back a bit to keep her from outpacing Fox and his dragon. In return, Zahraa tosses her head and looks back and looks fixedly at the approaching riders, indicating in that manner just what it is she's trying to tell Ada.
Her own eyes not being anywhere near as good as Zah's in the dark, Ada has to squint to pick up the outlines of the others, and it only after they get a bit closer that she spots just what is is that has her mount so excited. One of the approaching dragons sports a magnificent set of feathered wings, and though it is impossible to tell color in the pale light, she can tell that it's scales are nearly as light as Zahraa's feathers. With that, Ada too shares a bit of Zahraa's excitement and she lets the bird move a bit closer before reigning her in again. She doesn't know much about dragons, but enough to know that one with wings, especially those with feathers, must be exceptionally well bred. Zah sees the creature as a companion, and now Ada is profoundly curious about it's origins. Thus the two are practically dancing in the grass with anticipation.

((Yeah, sorry D; just been busy and depression hasn't been helping my muse lately >.< Short post...))
"He was always the rogue amongst us." Aobara rolled his eyes a small degree but despite this a slight smirk found it's way to his lips. "If there was trouble involved you could bet it was his idea."
"I can hear that and I hope you know I don't appreciate it." Fox returned, being close enough to have heard these words by this point and giving the black-haired boy a mock punch to the shoulder as he sidled up alongside him, pulling his mount to a halt and equally Ao did the same with his.
Mizuiro lifted his head up and back slightly as the blue dragon seemed to size up the large, white bird before it, a small touch wary at first but most dominant of it's interest in the avian being curiosity. Equally Aobara is curious and gazes over at Ada and her bird with keen interest.
"Huh...so t'was an Avaris." These words were more just musing to himself before he offered her a timid smile as well and dipped his head to her, granted he couldn't tell if present company was male or female owing to the clothing she wore, though it was common amongst Avaris. "Hello..."

Sanaii gave a soft appreciative chuckle at Ao's and the other man's exchange. Passing both of Ryce's reins into her right hand she placed her left hand on her leg taking on a relaxed sort of position. While waiting for Ao and he other guy to finish their male bonding session, she gazed over at the the fourth member of the party. The figure towered above them as they were mounted on a very large bird. Watching the pair with interest she realized that they were also watching her with interest. Or they were at least eyeing Ryce who tended to attract attention no matter where he went. Sanaii had really considered choosing a less conspicuous mount, but she was most comfortable with Ryce and she needed the assurance especially since she had brought Cailen with her who was almost always up to no good.
Shifting her gaze so that it traveled over everyone in the group she said "prehaps we should get going? It's not good to hang around these parts for to long." as though wanting to voice his own thoughts Cailen gave a quiet bark, he was anxious to get going and he didn't want to hang around for much longer. Sanaii on the other hand knew that they had quite a bit of ground to cover to reach the city and besides they could get acquainted as while they were traveling.
(it's alright, I just start to worry if I don't see anything happening for a while. And I know what you mean I have had so much stuff going on in school my muse has been put through a wood-chipper)
