Opening Story
Looking at these fluffy creatures you would think they'd have no troubles. But you're wrong. There are plenty of things out there that cause trouble for a kitkin! You may be a predator yourself but there are many more predators out there that are much bigger than you and they have no issues about a little furry snack! not to mention human activities threatening your very existence. While there is the occasional nice human out there there are just as many who are bad owners or want to hunt you for your lovely fluffy pelt. Some even think of you as vermin! You also have issues with declining territory and pollution to contend with and if that wasn't enough you have ordinary day to day struggles to deal with like finding food maybe finding a mate and staying alive. Luckily your species is very adaptable and smart! so you have several choices open to you:
- You can go it alone hoping that the small numbers make you harder to find and makes spreading food supplies much easier but you'll find it harder to defend yourself.
- Find safety in numbers and join a flurry letting group numbers keep you safe but it means you're easier to find and have many more mouths to feed.
-Partner yourself with a nice human who will keep you safe but at the loss of respect from your wild brethren and loss of many of your own choices.
-Or try to free yourself from the clutches of the evil human who captured you!
So with all these forces bent against you do you have what it takes to survive?

just a quick note about flurries and the dynamics are as follows:
1- Alpha Pair (In charge)
2- Beta [can be a pair](2nd in command)
3- Trackers/Hunters (These find prey)
4- Trackers/Foragers (These find fruit, seeds and small insects i.e worms)
5- Sentries (These patrol territory boundaries and report danger)
6- Caretakers (Look after kitlets if parents are away, also teach kitlets)
7- Kitlet (baby kits have no roles until adolescence)
5- Omega (Often bullied by other members are often given Caretaker roles or inferior tasks but are actually well loved by the group)
Why are there no warriors? simple everyone apart from kitlets (and occasionally omegas) are expected to defend the flurry after all kits are not the strongest and most will avoid fights unless the numbers are large so when they do fight everyone is called to pull their fair share.
