Ryu glanced up, not having noticed Thorn previously. "Um, no. It's Ryu...As in Wry-oo." He said, sounding out his name for who appeared to be his roommate and dog. This kid was probably younger than himself by a year at least. He had an urge to mutter 'idiot' under his breath, but he'd be living with the kid and he didn't want to get off on the wrong foot. "And you're Thomas, correct?" He asked, although he was fairly sure that had been the name he'd seen next to his on the door.

Someone walked into the room, and Rumor hastily preceded to dry her face off and turn to face the girl who introduced herself as Luna. "I'm Rumor, yes!" Grinning, she bounded from the bathroom to greet her new roommate. She could hear her cat hissing from the upper level, and hoped the dogs wouldn't give chase. Frost was a nasty cat and had even scratched out this one dog's eye.
"It's nice to meet you! You're dogs are adorable." She grinned at the two dogs before turning her attention back to the girl. Luna had the feel of an energetic person, which relieved Rumor. "I took the top. Hope you don't mind. Oh, and beware of my cat. She's mean." She could see the mostly black cat's head sticking out from under the railing, small canines exposed as she yowled her anger at the dogs. Rumor smiled at Luna, flicking her black hair out of her face.

Madame Finn

Madame Finn smirked slightly, as the new teacher asked about the question. “They adjust fairly well, and fairly quick. They knew they were different their whole life. They grew up with the marks, the powers…” Her voice trailed, before her cold eyes locked onto Miss Eve. “Surely you must remember Miss Eve, really, it must have not been that long ago you were in a high school yourself, finally surrounded by your own kind?”
She began to walk towards the stairs, to exit the stage.

Elian Zenith

Elian sighed, bored by the speech. Honestly, could Madam Finn not come up with something new every year, change it a bit or fire it up? Then again, that woman’s fire was a scary thing, as he had witnessed. If powers were personality, Madame Finn would have a raging blizzard constantly surrounding her that froze anyone within a mile radius. His stomach growled, and since he was too lazy to grab the snuck-in chocolate bars from his room, he headed to the cafeteria. As he got in line, he tried to survey the crowd for one of his friends, but couldn’t seem to spot any of them.

Ivy Tiensee

Ivy really did not care about food or even belongings at the moment. She played with her bracelet, feeling like a sore thumb with her green skin while all the others looked much more normal. She chose a random hallway adjacent to the auditorium, following twisting turns until she hit a more secluded part. That is when she began searching. She would trail her fingers on windows, try every door and quickly peek inside. It was not simple wanderlust, or even a curiosity to know the school, but a much more primal need. The need of escape. She felt like she was in a zoo, all the animals caged together, but only she knew the cage was there. She had to get out, back to the streets, and back to her life, not spend her time trapped in a castle.

Personality: On a good day, he's nice and funny. He likes to talk to girls and flirt around, but rarely takes a likingly to one girl. It takes a lot for him to actually fall in love and stay with one girl for a long period of time. He can be fun to talk to and just hang around with, but on a bad day, he's a devil. When he's in a bad mood, everyone knows it. He's wild and untamed, his eyes tend to fade darker than their normal color. He is cold and quiet, not talking to anyone. Normally he will just stay in his room or if he's out walking or in class, he wears his dark hoodie with the hood up and music blaring in his ears by always conceled earphones.
History: He was born in a small town to a good family. He had a mother, father, and an older brother, but sadly he was born during a time of war and his brother, being 22, was called to fight in the war in Iraq. Ash never seen his brother after he deployed for the war. When he was 10 years old, he made a slip up and his mark was reveiled to the students in his class. It was an accident and happened when he was in gym. It was required to dress out and he forgot to wait untill everyone was gone before changing, but he didn't see the one kid that hang back to use the bathroom, now the whole school knows and is labeled a freak. A few days later he runs away from home, later being found by his great grandfather, also a Hemi, and brought to this school. He's been here ever since.

Personality: On a good day she's quiet and shy, she tends to be nice when you get to know her and can be funny when she tries. She never really has a bad day, she's always quiet so that's about it for her, but she can be nice, fun and sometimes if you get her happy enough, she will get wild and even more fun to be with. Sadly, its hard for her to be happy after the loss of a great pair of adopted parents, see history below.
History: She was born and raised in Europe, but came here soon after. She was labeled a freak since birth due to her mark and was put up for adoption as a newborn. She wasn't accepted anywhere because of her mark, so she went from foster home to foster home through out her life. One foster family was differnt, their daughter was also a Hemi, but was killed by someone who hated Hemis, she was accepted right away into the home and soon was adopted by the family. She knew about their lost daughter and tried her best to be a great daughter, but after living with them for a few years, they got into a car accident. She lived of course, but her foster mother and father didn't. They were killed on impact by a dump truck that blew its brakes when it tried to stop for a fast red light and ended up hitting their car head on in the driver side. Izzy now has to live at the school because she's now too old to be in foster care anymore. She was brought here by a Hemi who claims to be her grandmother.

Age: 7 centuries
Looks: On fire and not on fire
Personality: Nix is normally calm and nice to everyone, but she, like all animals, has her limits on calm and nice. When in a good mood or a normal mood, she's mellow and doesn't talk much, she likes to just fly around or watch the students wonder around the school. In a bad mood, she's loud and angery at everything. She will screech and make her fire bright and flaming hot so no one touches her or comes near her. Just beware when the fire on her wings turns a deep red and is burning hot to the touch.
History: She doesn't really remember much of her past, but the more recent things she does remember. She remembers fighting with her siblings in Hell, its something that's actually hard to forget. It was a long and hard fight, but she made it out, but not after getting some terrible wounds. She tries to heal herself, but she was too injured to do it herself. Due to her injuries, she couldn't fly right and ended up in a dense forest area, that's where Finn, the school's principal as a teenager, found her. It took a while, but Finn eventually got Nix healed enough to survive the night and in the morning she was good as new. Because of Finn's kindness, Nix helped in building the school and protects Finn whenever she needs to.
Power: Able to control the fire on her wings and body (the heat and shade), she knows most languages (but not all), has healing tears and is reborn through her ashes when she 'dies' (classic phoenix powers).

I smile at her and look to the top room, wincing a little, but silently. I smile then again and turn my attention back to her, and I smile still as I say, "Nice to meet you." I then smile to Ice and Coco, and smack Ice lightely on the nose because he growls at the cat. "What's her name?" I ask, referring to the cat, but then I add on, "Uhm, do you mind if I have the top, because my powers?" I hope she doesn't think I'm weird, but it's true that I need the highest and brightest place to sleep, just because I get energy from the moon instead of food, well, I do get it from food just not as much as other people.

I nod to him, getting the name nailed to the memory board in my head. I don't smile, thoug, and I wonder if he was gay. It would be funny to have a guy all ga-ga over me, even if I didn't even like that gender. Still not smiling, I give his bird the evil eye, and I warn him silently not to squawk or do anything to or at me. I then put on a fake smile, and I can tell that this isn't going to work out. "Thorn, not Thomas." I correct, seeing that he liked to push buttons, and I've always hated button pushers.

I smile to him, glad he understands. "He doesn't usually howl at night, only if the windows are open, and I have blinds that keep him from it. He only howled at me 'cause you're here and he didn't know what to do." E explain, knowing that most people got irrateted when they lived with a howler that wasn't even their own. I look at Leo's dog, a lazy Brute that I don't know what breed is. "What type of dog is 'e?" I ask, smiling at Leo and his dog, glancing back up to Charlie every so often.

I smile and nod. "Nope, about ten years ago I was starting high school." I explain, even though I really don't need to explain. My blonde, pulled back hair is in a pony tail, and it bobs ever so lightly to the sway of my steps and the bounce that I make, th elittle bounce that happens when I walk. I walk with Madame Finn to the exit of the stage, then tell her, "You may call me just Eve. Only students will put a Miss in front of the Eve." I say, smiling, sarcastically to her.

Okay, let me know when you get the marks. Also, can you please try and be a bit more descriptive on their personalities and history please? I know it's a three sentence minimum, but I prefer when people aim for a paragraph, as it makes the Power Choosing easier and helps prove literacy. Thank you Rebellion.
