She perked up, her ears facing forward. "Yes Fogheart?" She asked, hearing the voice outside her den.

Fogheart came in a little bit. "thanks to my mouse-brain sister, Mistkit, Thornkit, and Sunkit have been taken by twolegs." there was a flash of fear in his eyes, though he tried to keep his voice calm.

She stood up quickly, growling, not hissing, as she pased back and forth. "Fox-dung!" She hissed under her growling. "I don't want to risk our warriors, but we can't just leave them!...." She stopped and looked up at Fogheart. "I want you to lead a patrol to the Two-leg houses. Try to see if you can save them. But! If there is even the slightest risk to anyone in the patrol, you leave! Here me?! Two-leg are nice to kits. They will be in good hands if you can't save them...." She turned and laid angrily back on her nest. This just added to her worry for her mate, Batwing. Where is he?!....

[oh bother.]

Tallfeather: He dashed off to the Medicine Cat den and scooped up a few stems of yarrow. Tallfeather was back by Batwing's side as fast as he could be and was trying to get Batwing to eat the yarrow. Worriedly he looked up and called out for help.

Fogheart nodded and padded out. "Mudfur, Nightowl, and Dovesong! we're going to go save the kits!"

[oh bother.]

Tallfeather: He grunted and kept at trying to get Batwing to swallow.

He was sleeping when Fogheart yelled. He stretched and yawned, getting up and trotting over to the tom. "Why'd you have to wake me up?...."


Nightowl

He was already by Fogheart when Mudfeather came up. "You Mousebrain!" He teased his brother, "We need to save some kits!"

"ready?" Fogheart asked, then trotted off.

"Oh Mudfeather," He replied, "It's been so many moons since we were with those two-legs in the city. Don't worry!" He trotted slightly behing the others, hiding his own fear of the two-legs.
