-Dylan walked through the halls. She looked at everyone. Just as someone ran by with paint and sprayed her. She was now pink, blue, and black. She dropped her books. She wiped the paint from her eyes. She looked back and saw them laughing. Of course it was the jocks. She picked up her books and walked to the bathroom-

Nick: I had seen all that happened. I stopped the guys and told them to stop. They said no, so I grabbed the paint out of their hands and threw it in their faces. They screamed like little girls and ran off.

-Dylan tried getting the paint out of her hair. It stayed. She had black pink and blue streaks now. At least she got it off her face and clothes. She walked back out embarrassed. They pick on the new kid of course-

Josh smiled at Nick and didn't run off like his friends did. He ran up to Dylan, his hands in his sweatshirt pockets. "Sorry 'bout that," he said sincerely. "They're jerks sometimes. They're just like that 'cause they like you."

Nick: I see the girl walking out of the bathroom. I walk up to her and say, "I know how to get that out of your hair. Oh, I'm Nick. I believe you're Dylan, is that right?"
