Tendai sighed and nodded. OK, let's go, he said, untwining his tail and standing up. He smiled at her and padded towards the oasis, his shoulder brushing hers. She was worth it. Of course it she was.

Mirage sighed and heaved herself up. She walked beside Tendai and when they entered camp she looked defiantly ahead of her.

Kamau saw the two big cats and scowled a bit. He waited to see what they would do.

Tendai
Tendai looked at Mirage and smiled slightly, before padding up to Kamau. Greetings Kamau. How are you? he asked, bowing with respect.

"Fine, you?"Kamau said smiling at Tendai. He was a good lion alright and Kamau had nothing against him.

Mirage smiled when she saw that Kamau was in a good mood.

I am well, thank you. he said with a smile, his eyes glowing with respect. I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you would allow Mirage and myself to... be together. he asked, glancing at Mirage. Hope welled inside him. He wished Kamau to say yes.

Kamau knew this was coming"Hmmmm . . . "he thought about the disadvantages but none too serious came up. He slowly nodded"Alright, but do not abuse the gift i have given you"

Mirage waited impatiently for the answer.

Happiness, relief, excitement and admiration swirled inside Tendai as Kamau talked. Thank you Kamau, I promise I will not abuse your trust. he said, dipping his head and padding over to Mirage. He grinned. He said yes! he said happily.
