Intro
"This city used to pulse with energy, dirty and dangerous, but alive and wonderful. But now it's something else. The changes came slowly at first, most didn't realise or din't care and accepted them, they chose a comfortable life. Some din't. Those who refused to conform were pushed to the sidelines... Criminalised, they became our clients. We call ourselves runners, we live on the edge between the gloss and reality-The Mirror's Edge. We keep out of trouble, out of trouble and the cops don't bother us. Runners see the city in a different way, we see the flow, rooftops become pathways and conduits, possibilities and escape routes. Plot
It's only 25 years after the death of young Runner Faith Connors and 35 years after she shut down Project Icarus and made the city free for everyone again, after bringing the city back to life, something went wrong, after her sudden and unexpected death the Runners went into chaos, with this organisation falling apart the government took the chance and pushed the runners back to being supposedly non-existent, it was the same as the first time but this time the blues were ready, and it won't be so easy to fight back, and even running will be dangerous.
