Erica
Erica smiled wanly, they hadn't been wiped out yet since there was no reason when their kingdom may just fail on it's own with the way things were going in the world right now. She sighed forcing her thoughts back to more optimistic ones, it wasn't usually in her nature to be so gloomy. Right now she hardly felt like being cheerful, there was to much at stake to be as optimistic as she generally was. To much strife that needed to be dealt with in a more realist way. "Yes I believe it may be wise to send a party to ask for help. Perhaps a kingdom that stood by us in the war would be a good place to start." she suggested and then nodded. "I will see you later then princess, just send someone to summon me when you're ready and I shall come." She bowed out of respect to her princess, Erica could not for the life of her curtsy correctly so she made no attempts to try.Alithel
Ali sighed and knelt back down next to the wood she had been setting up and added in some kindling before drawing out her flint. She struck the flint and sparks flew into the wood catching hold. She blew gently and soon had a nice fire going, ready for cooking over when ever Nio was done. Ali glanced over at him and retreated away, shifting into her other form to climb easily up into her tree. She settled on the same branch, resting her head on her paws, the tip of her tail twitching every now and again. It was obvious she was thinking, well obvious to those who knew her. If not she would have just looked like a lazy cat.

Shaily was still staring at her feet then she looked at the queen. Her eyes were not black but more of a violet. She read the scroll and tried her best not to laugh at the rules. Some of them were pretty ridiculous, she frowned and simply shook her head. If she was to be apart of the crew, she hoped she would best be left alone with. Anti-social was her thing. SHe never trusted anyone, anywhere. She didn't even trust herself. But she did not pout and just listened. The Queen did know what to do for her kin and Kingdom, so she did not object. But instead looked at the Queen. SHe mainly was weighing the whole Tiger Kingdom in the hands. This was not going to be an easy task, especially if she wold have to work well with others. Now that would probably never happen. People hated her and she hated them. Simple as that. And being with the panthers would just make it worse. 'Oh well' she thought 'its better than an arranged marriage' she tried her best not to scoff at her thought.

[I hope I don't offend anyone with this, but I have a bit of a rant to make. Why do royal characters always hate being royalty? It always seems to be either that or they're mad with power. I do my best to put the good and bad of my characters on display, but for some reason I keep seeing "anti-social" this and "anti-social" that and "oh my god I hate my life why do people have to bow to me oh my god". It's tiresome and, to be honest, it gets really old really fast. People who are royal are lucky. In the middle ages, a commoner was more likely to die of the plague that of old age. People who had money could go anywhere they wanted, do anything they pleased. It's not like they had to stay inside their houses twenty-four hours a day, and yet all I see of royalty in roleplays is "oh, I'm so lonely, oh, why am I never allowed to go anywhere, oh, I hate my life so much". Again, I'm sorry if I'm putting down your characters, but this needed to be said. You're lucky to have a royal character. Your character is lucky to be royal. They will have good care, good food, good shelter, good lives. It is very unlikely that they will die young, of disease, or in childbirth. They will be happy because they have money and power. Act like it. Thank you.]

(I really rather have to agree with that. The whole anti social thing does get a bit old after a while because so many people use it. If you want to have a character with a depressing story there are better ways to go about it.)
Sef
Sef moved away from the wall keeping his head cocked for any noise that would indicate people coming. So far there were none that he could hear. Being blind was such a pain especially when one could remember what seeing had been like. Colors, shapes, shades. At least he could still feel things, touch gave him something to remember by, and hearing. It amazed him how his hearing had so greatly improved, it made up for his lack of sight but never for his loss. He sighed deeply and rubbed his temples. Life was hard, but that kept it interesting. He shook his head and turned the corner hearing the low murmur of voices ahead, not far but far enough he couldn't make out words. Then it stopped suddenly and the sound of receding footfalls floated back. He frowned, that was odd. Sef shrugged after a moment and found the stairs easily and trotted down them. He knew the layout of the castle well and didn't need anyone to guide him but Sef had never been outside the gate, at least not since he had lost his sight. He was content to stay where he was, there was no drive for him to explore when all the exploring he wanted to do could be done with books. He had often wondered what it would be like to visit a castle belonging to one of the other kingdoms but beyond that he had no wish to leave. His mind turned to other things, their own kingdom mainly, there was much that needed to be done if they were to survive the winter. The economy needed stimulating and they needed food. He'd had the statistics ,read to him and their suplies were running dangerously low. Perhaps trying to procure a trade agreement with another of the kingdoms would be a good idea. But which kingdom would be best to speak with? Perhaps they could also send a hunting party to the no mans land area if they had to. He sighed, running a kigdom was hard, he was glad he didn't do all of it. Still he would never give up his position as prince to become a commoner. Sef reached the bottom of the stairs and headed through the coridors once more listening to the hum of activity as he reached the more ihabited areas of the castle.

[Or at least give them a reason to be depressed. A doctor who couldn't save his younger sister from the cancer that eventually took her life, for example. Or a firefighter who had to choose between saving his wife or the children of strangers from a schoolhouse fire. But not "Oh, I'm rich, people respect me, I have a great life, I'm so sad."]

Vanendra bowed her head respectfuly to her aunt. "I promise you that we won't act childish. But all day with another tiger? don't we get some private time to bathe and enjoy a book?" she asked the queen. Personally Vane just wanted to know if there was a window of time where she could draw without there being someone looking over her shoulder. "I mean, I don't mind being with the others, but I would like some time alone." She told the queen.

Shaily just stared at the queen and mainly said nothing more. Her voice to tired to speak. But Vandera asked the question she had been wondering about. Would they get privacy? She liked being royal and all but privacy would be nice. She smiled in her mind thinking to herself. All of a sudden she asked "So it will be Vandera and I, but will anyone else become apart of the crew, besides us,?" she asked

((I reread my last post and noticed I spelled theirs wrong as there's, is it bad that it made me cringe? I understand what you are saying Wildmagic, and I do my best to keep my characters out of those stages. Please correct me if I do something wrong ^.^.))
A small smile pulled at Mable's lips as she watched Erica take a bow. It had always entertained her that the young woman was one of the few to bow instead of curtsy. "I shall send Brutus to get you in time them.
((And sorry, I will finish my post in a minute, I have to leave real fast.))
