Princess Seysis sits on her four poster bed with her Guardian, a dark grey/black lynx named Svofur. She gently and slowly strokes his head as she looks towards her large window which had the curtains closed. She gets up, walks over and touches the creamy-white silk curtains. She opens them slowly, they could easily be ripped if she opened them to quickly.

Princess Seysis looks over the land before turning around and walking towards her door. She hears a soft thud as Svofur jumps off the bed. She gently grabs the doorknob and opens the door "Come on Svofy, we have to go now." she tells him. She had seen a herd of four horses outside the castle gates with her father and two brothers mounted and waiting.
