Peachflower frowned as Shadowclaw stopped for a second seeing Berrypaw and seem to sweat even more. Peachflower shook her head. "What's you with those two?" Toadheart craned his head to look.

Rainheart nudged Shadowclaw "Come on let's go" he said, padding off towards Berrypaw

Sunstripe watched Shadowclaw, who was sweating at the sight of Berrypaw. I wonder what's up between those two!

Berrypaw stood as she sensed her father and Shadowclaw approaching. Rainheart stood in front of her and looked down at the apprentice, his voice stern. "I think you owe Shadowclaw an apology for saying that one of his kits may not make it." he told her. Berrypaw looked suprised for a second, but that fell to irritation. She glanced in Shadowclaw's direction "I never said anything like that" she said in a short, clipped tone

Toadheart herd the anouncement Rainheart said to Berrypaw and opened his mouth in shock. He troted over and looked at both cats, "how can either of you even think that!" he said, "Dreampelt is strong and healthy! She will deliver strong kits that will be great warriors."

Berrypaw sighed. "Toadheart can I talk to you?" she asked. She lead the tom a safe distance away and after making sure her father and Shadowclaw would be out of earshot, she looked at Toadheart "I never said anything about Dreampelt's kits. Shadowclaw was asking about you and Peachflower and he got upset that I didn't tell him what I know." she explained "I guess he just made something up when my father asked"

Peachflower pricked her ears at the news. And she cought a small glance from Toadheart and went back to sorting herbs as if she hadn't heard them

Toadheart stifend "you know?" he whisperd almost to quietly to hear. Then remebering that this was Peachflowers best friend he relaxed, "How could she not know?" he thought. Ok Berrypaw come on. They walked over to where Shadowclaw and Rainheart were and sat down. Toadheart lifted his head and said, "Berrypaw said no such thing about your kits, they will grow healthy and strong and may somday lead this clan. Do NOT put words in other cats mouths Shadowclaw." It looked as if Shadowclaw wanted to reply but he stoped himself, remebering that this was Blazeclans medicen cat apprentice.

Just when Toadheart turned to walk away a screach came from the nursery, Peachflower ran over there and after having a look poked her head out again and said, "Dreampelts kits are coming!" Toadheart ran over there with Shadowclaw hard on his paws. Before he went into the nursery he looked at Shadowclaw and said, "quick, get her moss with water on it."

Sunstripe's pelt pricked at the sound of Dreampelt's screech. He knew her kits would be coming soon, but he hadn't expected them today. He watched Peachflower race to the nursery and his pelt lay flat again, hoping the kits would come okay.
