In my school, the guys all think that the boys are gay, not just for each other though. And that if a guy likes 1D, they have to be gay too. It's sort of hilarious.

Lots of people at my school say the same thing. "You like One Direction?" "Yeah, I love 'em." "Ew, why?" "They have good songs, good hearts, and good personalities?" "They're not even music!!!" "?"

What is this? I usually respond with "So much garbage passes for music these days that you can hardly criticize these angels," but what is that supposed to mean? 'Not even music'

Oh, the guys at my school don't like one direction because their girlfriends obsess over the boys instead of them. It's kinda funny. In band we were talking and one boy yelled out(sarcastically) we should do a one direction song and all the girls burst into song xD

They sorta stand there for a moment, opening and closing their mouths, trying to find an acceptable answer. At which point i smirk anf turn and walk away.

Yes I agree completely, One Direction actually have a feeling and emotion to their songs, Moments has the ability to bring me to tears- not many songs can.

It's mainly the girls who know who they are at my school, not the guys.

Okay so my history teacher has been out for like forever and we had a sub. He's super young and funny but yesterday he got into one direction things. He wrote musicians and models on the board. He wrote how models were talentless, stood a lot and tried to act sexy. In musician he wrote must require skill, ugly and talented. He started to compare on direction and he said how they were not ugly but they were talentless and did mch standing around to pose. (he did a funny pose to try and immitate their adorableness-it didn't work) bt anyways I was so mad! One direction is super talented!!!!!!

Yes, screw that sub. It isn't nice, and is also incredibly unprofessional. That is almost as bad as discussing whether they are democratic or republican with the students. v.v To me, at least.

Exactly. They are jealous! I would also like to know why a group of guys would rather listen to stupid all-rap songs you can't even understand, have no meaning, and are completely inappropriate, they can't even play them at dances, rather than someone like Adele, or Bruno Mars.
I understand getting tired of What Makes You Beautiful after a while of it playing on heavy rotation all day on every good pop/ Top 40 channels, but if you listened to songs like Gotta Be You, Moments, or I Want, you would understand they really care about what they are singing about. And at their age, there IS a lot of heartbreak and freggin' users trying to get them because of their fame. { I am making my cousin get me their signatures at a signing next summer because I wouldn't be able to breathe if I met them, though. }
When I found out what Moments is about, I almost cried.

WHAT????????/ One Direction is one of the few bands i think are good as a regular singer! There really isnt all that much editing between them and the CD. I find it amazing that they can do that, and admire it.
