Kudo's smile didn't fade, but he sighed and looked up at the sky, as if examining the top of the walls or something. "You know what, Jordan?'' He said to her, trying to not give away anything in his words. He tried not to think, either.

Jordan looked at the ground, worried that Kudo was annoyed with her, and couldn't see his smile. "What?" She asked, running her fingers through her hair lightly.

"I don't care if you can read my thoughts or not. It may be annoying, embarrassing, and... other things that I'm not going to say, but still. I like you for you. Your personality. Not your... abilities or whatever you want to call it, okay?'' Kudo looked down at her, smiling and then hugging her. "Just try not to... do it ALL the time, don't tell the other Gladers about it, and everything will be fine. Okay?''

Jordan blinked in surprise, tilting her head up to look at him. "Oh..." Her grin widened with ever sentance until she was sure it wasn't possible to smile any more. "Okay, that's a deal then." She replied with a nod. Part of her wondered how long it would last, but she scolded herself inwardly for it. She had to at least give him a chance. Maybe it could work out...

Kudo thought of something and then grinned back at her. "Not yet... one more thing before we make a deal here.'' He leaned down to whisper in her ear, "One more kiss.''

Jordan raised an eyebrow questioningly, her head cocked. "What? Why?" She questioned and blinked in surprise. "Am I missing something here?"

Kudo just grinned at her. "You said it was good, didn't you?... And it is.'' He just loved kissing her.

Jordan shrugged, blushing, though a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "Okay, fair enough." She stood up on her tip toes for a second, kissing him lightly.

Kudo grinned at her. "Alright. We have a deal now, then?'' He began to slowly walk back towards the Glade.

Jordan nodded slowly, pretending to think. "Yes, I suppose." She sighed melodramaticly, though her smile returned after a heartbeat. "Yes." She repeated, firmly. She started to follow him back towards the Glade, a bounce in her step.
