He looks longingly at Shadow, then at Faith What do i do now? his eyes ask her. he lets out a small whimper and looks at his reflaction in the lake. "She'll probably pick Desert over me... he hits the water and the reflection disappears. He runs away, not realizing he is going where Shadow went, he accidently bumps into her "S-s-sorry," he says, looking down at his paws, "I didn't see where I was going."feeling really embarrassed, he turns around and starts walking the other way.

Shadow
((Shadow is already out of the territory, she needs time to think. Midnight or Desert?))
Shadow finally stopped running nearby a lake, gulping in air. She looked around, Where am I? She sat down, next to the lake and stared at her reflection. She knew Midnight well, but Desert was mysterious. She had no idea what to think. She watched a pair of squirrels, playing around. She lay down and fell asleep. Thoughts swirling through her head.

She scrambled ungracefully from the stream and shook herself vigorously, sending water droplets everywhere, her fishing attempt had failed and she looked around to see if anyone had noticed

Shadow woke up, it was late afternoon. She had decided, she trotted back to camp looking for Desert and Midnight.

He waits at camp, hoping Shadow would come and pick him over Desert. "I hope she picks me... besides, she barely knows desert! But... that night i spent with her... was...amazing."
CHERISH
She walks to the stream, hoping to drink, when she sees a fae, it's Redleaf."Hi!"she says, hoping to strike conversation.

Shadow saw Midnight, "Midnight! I'm so sorry. . . . .I pick you." Shadow smiled cheekily and danced around him.

Desert knew it was coming. He was barely 4 wolf-strides away from Shadow and his alpha, Midnight, when he heard those dreaded words. His head grew hot and tears prickled in his eyes. He turned sharply the other way and shook his head viciously. I knew it. It's my fault. I've always just shied away. And now . . . He forced the moment from his mind, but it just kept coming back. Faith somehow appeared, and it must have been obvious on his face because she leaped up and gave him a huge bear hug, and followed him out of camp. He sat down by the stream as Faith wrapped herself around him. He couldn't hold back tears, and was ever grateful for Faith, his loyal, trusted, closest friend.

Faith trotted into camp, and the moment she saw Desert's face she knew. Oh, poor Desert. She leaped up and hugged him, speaking softly so only her closest, heartbroken friend could hear. "There there. It is OK." she followed him out of camp, and down to the stream, where she curled around him and let him cry onto her shoulder.

He hears her three words that make him ecstatic "R-r-r-really?!" he says, wagging his tail."Y-you pick me?" his mind is filled only with Shadow's three words."You know, if i had a penny for every time i thought of you, i'd have one penny, because i never stopped thinking." he says, suddenly calm,he wraps his tail around hers.
CHERISH
She is happy the fae remembered her name "Yes." she says."What, may i ask are you doing here?"she says, curiously.
