Riku followed the teen, and even around the beach, there were colorful vendors, which he started seeing once they got far enough from the hidden cove. And the beach itself was full of people too, with kids running down the beach, teens in the water, adults on beach blankets and towels. He could smell fried foods, which made him wrinkle his nose a bit. The whole reason most mer-people remained so fit was because they lived off of fish and undersea plants.

"Yeah...It's just I...er...Usually spend time in the country...Rains a lot there. So I'm not entirely used to things here..." Riku trailed off, glancing over at Lucas with aquamarine eyes. His general appearance didn't really uphold his story though. He was tanned, but he had silvery hair, and he looked like he spent a lot of time in the sun. He looked a lot like a surfer...Someone who practically lived in the water, or actually did.
