Cog-D3-14-Honey Badger
Cog had been walking for a long time- almost stumbling around as exhaustion crept up on him again. He was small for his age, and young; going long distances even at a steady pace wasn't that easy when your usual daily routine consisted of sleep, starve and make watches. He almost didn't notice the silver parachute landing the the tangle of vines in front of him. Of course, when he did see it, he quickly sprinted over to it, large teeth twisting into a gleeful smile. Sponsors! He and Lupa, wherever she was, had sponsors! The parachute contained a full canteen of water- Cog guessed that he was far away from any stream if they were giving him this, and that , well, he didn't have a canteen. The black-haired tribute took a step into the light so the camera's could see him, whispered 'Thanks', and stepped back into cover to rest for a little.

•Dakota---District 2---
Genet•
Dakota followed both the scent and sound of water. His tail flicked back and forth as he looked around from within a tree, and it fluffed out at the sound of a branch snapping. He looked around, searching for the cause of the sound, but he didn't see anything. It might have been a small mammal or a bird, but he wasn't sticking around to find out. He hopped to another tree, then smoothed out his ruffled tail. He sighed, looking around. The sound of water was closer, and soon, he actually saw it. Dakota hopped down to the ground and practically ran towards the stream. He knelt down next to it and dipped a hand into the water. It was a murky little stream, but after he had it in his hand, he'd realized that it was because of minerals in the water. Double-score! Not only did he have water, but mineral rich water. He pulled out his canteen and filled it. The water was cool, but it would probably get pretty warm soon enough. He cupped some water in his hand and took a sip of it, enjoying the cool feeling running down his throat. When had he last had water? He glanced around, making sure there was no one else here. He stood up, putting the canteen in his bag. Perhaps he should find a way to make a weapon. His district was the main weapons manufacturer anyway, and he knew how to make one from scratch moderately well.
under construction.

((I'm sorry I haven't replied, guys. The last week has been so insanely busy... I promise I'll do a good long reply tonight or tomorrow. I apologize to anyone who I've been holding up!))
Chris smirked, then whistled under his breath at the sudden violent attack Zorath began on the lion. He stood back and drew his bow again, then took careful aim. This time, the arrow flew straight and true, and buried itself in the creatures thigh. The thing let out another loud scream, but it was cut off with a gurgle and the lion dropped, all movement stopping in an instant. Zorath had apparently severed it's spinal cord. He also heard a quiet rustle of leaves and the pounding of feet that alerted him to the escape of the unseen tribute. Good. He may want to survive, but he didn't know if he was ready to kill another human being.

Cog-D3-14-Honey Badger
Travelling at a slow and steady pace, stopping occasionally to take a sip of water or a bite of raw, bloody lion meat, Cog figures he's doing pretty well. Staying low and out of sight, stopping and turning the moment his heightened sense of smell catches even a stale whiff of lion, the badger tribute has some sort of odd, zig-zag pattern set as he navigates through the jungle.
Eventually though, he reaches a small jungle stream, but upon closer inspection, it appears to be quite murky and he has no way to purify it. With his canteen half empty and probably not going to last much longer, Cog has a decision to make. He sets his pack down at the edge, and hesitantly steps in for further investigation, knowing he's in a somewhat vulnerable position.

Zorath|district 9|golden eagle
''There. I think were safe for now.'' he said breathing heavily. ''man those things are strong.'' he sat down next to chris and pulled out a small bit of the food. ''have to reward myself dont I? want some?'' he said offering chris some food.
"When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am?I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
―Cave Johnson
