Amadeus's heart started to beat faster as he heard the deer. He counted to himself, he was counting the beats of the hooves to tell how far away the deer was. Finally Amadeus lunged out from the bushes and snapped his jaws at the deer. Amadeus lunged torward it snapping at his legs till he got one. He needed to bring it down more before he dared putting his head up and exposing his fragile belly to the does kicking legs. Amadeus kept his jaws on the deers front leg and moved with it's kicking body. Once or twice the deer kicked him but he ignored it and refused to let go.

Ella finally got up from the creek and stretched as she started to head back to camp the moss under her paws was damp and squishy, she started in a trot then broke into a run as she emerged into camp she let the sun fall on her she sat down on a soft spot in the grass where the sun hit nicely and she closed her eyes for only afew moments then opend them and started to scan the area of her home.
Kovou walked away with a bow of his head and sat down beside his sister.

Jay gripped one of the dears hind legs when she saw Ameduas jump from the bushes. she used her body to trip the dear by moveing her body while still gripping one of its hind legs. she knocked into the other back leg making the dear topple over. she could feel the hot warm bllod seep over her tongue.

Amadeus felt the deer tipping and let go of the deers leg. Slowly as the deer fell to it's side Amadeus lached onto it's neck holding down tight. The deer really didn't want to die and Amadeus bit down harder. Amadeus thought next time maybe a third wolf would be good. Finally Amadeus let go of it's neck as it stopped moving. He stood back catahcing his breath while licking his muzzle free of blood.

"You ready to hall this back to camp" she asked as her eyes adoringly watched him. "And might I say you hunt better than any wolf with scent that I ever seen." She commented as she dropped her gaze to the forest floor.
