Azari curls her fluffy white and gray tail around her paws and rests her head on his shoulder, pondering her own thoughts.

Jay's eyes blazed fierce blue as this had become personal.
He had lost his mother to rats. He never told anybody this and dared never speak about it.
With a force of a thousand cats, he spat out his catch and unsheathed his claws.
His heart almost burst open as he snarled viciously at the demons.
With lightening speed he plucked the rats out of the bunch and began spitting venomous curses at them.
Before long, blood stained his pelt and luckily it wasn't his own.
The stench of dead rodents became overbearing and Jay had to re cooperate before going back into the fight.
He yowled as a rat nipped at his back ankle. Turning around he swiped it with a paw and killed it with a switch to the throat.

Roman bit his lip and looked back infront of him with a slight nod of his head.

Star fought long and hard, but after a small while let out a yelp as a large rat launched itself at her, snapping it's deadly teeth at her exposed neck, latching on. She shook her head desperately, backing against the wall in fear, clawing at it desperately. Her hazel eye were wide with pain and fear, as she thrashed, her unsheathed claws flailing desperately.

Ebony shook her head slightly as he bit his lip.
"Did you use to live with the humans?" She asked out of curiosity.

The squeaking had grown so loud Birch's sensative ears could hear it.She grabbed the herb that heals rat bites.Then she made her way to where the sound was coming from."How much trouble can you get into in one day!", she yowled at them.Lashing at any rats she came near.The blind she-cat jumped on top of a window sill out of the rodents reach.She smelt cat blood."Get up here you mouse brains!", she called down.

Jay gasped and leapt to Stars side. "Stop thrashing around like a badger!" He instructed her.
Carefully he swiped at the vermin until it loosened grip. He then grabbed hold of it with his fangs and pulled.
Jay grunted and fell backwards when the rat finally let loose. He spat it's dead body with the others.
"Are you okay?" He asked his blue eyes wide with concern.
He went back to fighting but never took his eyes off of Star to make sure she was alright.
Piles of the vermin were still spilling out of the dumpster and Jay was still weary.
Two were latched on to his back paw and he swatted three more away from his front.

"There is always more time to get in to trouble!" He shouted to Birch as she appeared.

Roman shook his head."No.I have been living like this ever since I was born."He said."What about you?"

"Same for me. I never knew my family all that much. "She echoed. It was nice to have somebody who related to her in a certain way. She smiled slightly at her own foolish thoughts.
