What did you do to make the vines?

I made a separate layer above the wolf lines and drew the outline with a dark green, then I made a layer between the main lines and vine lines, and I put one solid lighter green. Then I took the burn and dodge tools and made them small and used them in certain areas to give the vines more realism.
