Im really serious and quiet and smart. So, not many no boys like me. I want to be happier and bubbly, but I cant. I just end up looking serious again. I want to be the pretty, happy, dont-care-what-anyone-says girl thats smart and athletic.
Its not working:
I dont DO sports.
I love to read.
I have acne. (Yuck.)
Im really sensitive.
I need to lighten up.

Three months? Aha, I didn't get my first boyfriend until I turned 13, and he physically abused me. Besides that I've only had one other boyfriend, who verbally abused me lmao (not something to joke about, but the guy's a loon).

What I think Artic means is, don't change yourself just because you think that's what a guy would want, no matter if there's any specific guy right now or not. Just be yourself, and someday the right one will come along. If you're acting as someone you're not, then you're lying, and the guys that are attracted to that lie will not be the ones for you.

I know that it sounds cheesy and the words are overused, but it really is true. I felt the same way and put up with my first boyfriend abusing me for nearly a year (and he dumped me) because I was so afraid I would never find another guy.

Since the guy I may or may not be falling for goes to church with one of my friends (we've been friends since preschool, I believe), I think it would be nice to start going. My parents and I went to church when I was younger, but I caused chaos and we kinda got kicked out (lmao), so we never went back. My mom would like to start again, but my dad doesn't so it would be a good oppurtunity for me to spend time with my friend who I very rarely see out of school, see Michael, and have the experience of church.

Problem is, the guy knows I like him (thank you so much, friends. Love you too). I don't think he even knows my last name, and I just found out his the other day. I had never seen him before this year, and never even spoke a word to him until last week. He's given me high fives (he's the kind of guy who gives out free hugs); once when we passed each other in the hall. :'3 Err, sorry; Didn't mean to ramble. To get to the point, I'm afraid I'll seem like a stalker/creepy girl if I start going to church out of the blue because I sort of like him, when I barely know him. (Does that make sense?)

I don't know if he's allowed to date. His parents work at a Christian school so they may be strict on such things(not stereotyping, I'm Christian myself), and he's a grade younger than me. Yet he absolutely dwarfs me in height. He's got to be almost, if not, 6 foot tall while I'm 4'9". xD
