Ari is very arrogant, though, and although she is smart, she isn't that smart. Riddles and puzzles are things that Ari likes, but schoolwork is something she likes to avoid.

Tally's friendly and bubbly, usually. She likes people to see the good side of her rather than the bad. She's only ever fitted in with the other urchins of District Four, though, never anywhere else. She, obviously, didn't go to school, so although she isn't intelligent in the sense of maths, etc, she's got common sense. She knows which foods are edible and which aren't; how to make nets, spears and other weapons; she can fish.
Tallulah's more of a tomboy. She tends to feel a little more comfortable around the boys; the girls make her a little self-conscious. She had enough money to keep the clothes on her back and get supplies and whatnot, but, of course, she could never afford a place of shelter for herself. Although, she takes shelter in a small shack at the edge of the District with various other urchins.
