Pelt colour; Black with shades of dark brown running throughout. His nape fades to grey.

Pelt Style; (glossy, matted, dirty...) Sleek, but dull, with a thick mane.

Body Build; Larger than the average wolf. He's rather stocky, with over-sized ears and feet.

W H A T is going on inside, my dear?

Personality; He is a stern wolf and can be blunt, aggressive,
and quick to react. But he is fiercely loyal and protective.
He also refuses to fight females unless it is necessary.

Strengths; Physical. He isn't the most seasoned in
wolf-on-wolf combat, but he can bring down a bull moose
on his own if given the opportunity. And he isn't a genius,
but he's far from stupid.

Weaknesses; Speed. Being a large wolf means extra pounds of
muscle to carry.

Drive for survival; Strong. He just flat out refuses to die.

Slowly, his paw slid off the tree before him, sending a few brittle scraps of bark falling into the snow, where they sat, stark against the pure white. The pure, unending, white. He squinted against the wind, his icy blue eyes scanning the visible radius around him. It had been months. Months since he'd seen another soul. But he'd been sure he heard a voice...

Sam shook his head. The wind had often played such tricks on him. He needed to conserve his energy, not run off chasing ghosts. The dark wolf dipped his muzzle, sniffing at the bark before turning back to the tree. He'd been lucky today. Two trees had still been alive, their flesh still tender enough to digest. He grimaced. The plant was bitter. But it was better than death.

She searched through the blizzard for any life signs, before daring to howl out. The snow whipped against her face and she had to squint hard to protect her eyes. She heard a female wolf sound and darted toward it with her small amount of strength.

Nakalla shook her head and went back into her den, but then she heard a faint scuffling not too far off. She squinted into the endless mounds of snow and saw a few shapes. One was a smaller shape that seemed to be a fae. The other was two tall pole-like things-- trees. Nakalla smiled. If this fae was worth saving the tree would provide shelter and warmth under its roots. She wagged her tail slightly and ran towards the fae, and looked her in the eyes.
"Are you worth it or not?" It wasn't a question to herself, she was directly asking her.

Kalia stared at her, cocking her head sideways in a question. Are you friendly? She did not stare directly into her eyes, and made her tail sag down a bit to let this female know she meant no harm.

Nakalla cocked her head. "Are you going to answer me or what?" She looked up at the trees. Now she can see a third shape. "Okay, c'mon, let's go." She picked up the fae by the scruff with strength that came from adrenaline and ran off towards the trees. Her jaws hurt, but she kept going.

Kalia would not tolerate this female suddenly dragging her by the neck for no explainable reason. She growled and yanked herself away from the female, snarling. "Not exactly a warm welcome, eh? I don't want to fight." She said, as she was hungry and cold, and not ready for a fight against this mysterious female.

Nakalla rolled her eyes. "Do you want to live or what? I'm in a bit of a hurry to get out of this blizzard here." She growled a little bit, impatiently waiting for an answer.

"Well no kidding, idiot." She retorted, but then realized she would have to be nicer if she wanted to travel with this wolf. She sighed. "Fine, let's move, but don't you dare try to pretend you are more dominant than me." She said, not trusting of her. She had tried to be friendly, but this wolf was acting as though she was stronger than her.
