Crookedsmile's gaze glanced up from the bird, it's feathers flayed across his face and stuck in his long whiskers. He considered her question, and grinned, crookedly of course. "Very tired," he responded in a deeper voice than Mistystar's. "How about you, ma'am?" He asked formally.

Mistystar chuckled slightly, her eyes shinning with amusement at his formal choice of words. She nodded, understanding that he was tierd, they all were. She then couldn't help but correct him, she didn't want to be seemed as someone who wanted to be adressed that way. The cats never did, because they saw her as nothing but a rougue, but the wolves seemed to shower her with the up most respect, "It's ok," She replied quietly, "We are of the same level, you don't need to treat me differently."

Rushingpaw grinned sheepishly and tucked her paws beneath her chest, waiting to let Whitepaw get the first bite. The pretty she-cat nodded eagerly. "Of course, I'd love to!" She meowed.

Whitepaw nodded and took a bite from the rabbit, a pretty big bite for a cat, but a normal one considering she was a fox. "Then we will go after this Rabbit is finished."

The young tom-fox shook his head, finishing his blackbird. He wiped the feathers from his face with an eager black paw. They were tickling his nose, and he didn't exactly look too graceful when he sneezed. He took a minute, letting her words sink in. "But I respect you," came Crookedsmile's careful response a few moments later.

The small she-cat nodded, taking an eager bite out of the rabbit. It was a much smaller bite compared to the one that Whitepaw had taken, but, she was a cat and Whitepaw was a fox. She chewed, and examined Whitepaw's muzzle closely. Thin and much longer than her own, she noted, wondering if it was rude ro stare.

I licked my small paw, which was covered in icky mud. I made a face as the fowl taste rolled over my tongue. When I was clean, I ran out of my hiding place, which was a clump of ferns and tried to scent the wind. All I could pick up was a mouse, and it was so far away. Sighing, I began to run towards it. Small branches whipped at my pelt, stinging me. I abruptly stopped when I was nearer to the mouse. I crouched down low, and saw the small brown critter. I pounced, but it sensed my presence and made a hasty escape. I mewed a small, pitiful mew. My ribs were beginning to show through my pelt, and I was tired, and stuck with nothing to eat. I aimlessly wandered around until I found a small puddle. I lapped at it until all that was left of the puddle was a patch of mud on the ground.
I saw a large bush that might just protect my tiny body from rain if it happened to fall, so I ran under and ducked down below the leaves. I hoped that nothing would find me hiding under the bush. My pelt would stand out in the dark leaves. I just closed my eyes and hoped that I would be safe.
I huddled closer to the trunk, scared and frightened of the large, intimidating world outside of the little bush.

Mistystar purred, amazed that someone would say something like that to her. She took a small bite of a round, juicy mouse whilst digesting his words at the same time. She tried to figure out how to respond, she couldn't exactly ask for him not to respect her, though she didn't want to be put up on a pedostool. "And I respect you too," She replied cautiously, not wanting to hurt his feelings, "So much so, that I don't believe that I need to be ranked 'higher'. We are all equal, though I do appreciate your respect." She added carefully, then took another bite of the mouse.
