Whitepaw woke up in the apprentices' den, full of energy. The snow was melting, and Newleaf was nearly there. She yawned and stretched, before walking to the clearing and picking a rabbit.

Rushingpaw bounced out of the apprentice's den. So early in the morning, and already, the pretty bundle of sleek, white-and-spotted fur was so full of energy, though she had just woken up. Her blue eyes shone brightly as she opened her mouth in a loving greeting; "Hello, everyone!"

Crookedsmile grumbled a little uncomfortably, hearing the apprentice's cry in his dream. The call brought his dreary head into reality, although the young tom-fox didn't want anything to do with the early-morning light yet. Oh well, nothing could be done now. He stretched, then padded out, squinting against the harsh, blinding rays that drove their way through the cracks in the branches above camp.

//Whitepaw//She-fox//

Whitepaw smiled when she saw Rushingpaw. "You look happy today. ¿Want to share?" She offered, pointing at the rabbit with her white, furry tail.

|Mistystar|She-Cat|

Mistystar stalked through the trees, her pawsteps making no sound on the forest floor. Suddenly, a bush in front of her rustled and she froze. A giant rabbit, almost half the size of her, hopped out, barely a tail length in front of her. Holding her breath so she wouldn't make any more noise, Mistystar crept closer and closer. Suddenly, she sprang into the air, landing on the rabbit's back. The force of her weight broke it's spine, and it fell to the ground, dead. Mistystar looked down triumphantly at her gigantic prey, then hoisted it onto her back, and padded swiftly back to camp. Once she entered the camp enterance, she placed it on the fresh-kill pile, then slowly beggan to groom her beautiful silver-blue coat.


|Whisperkit|She-kit|

Whisperkit pounced on a butterfly and accidentally ripped its wing off, putting a light bluish dust on her small white paw. She stared at the unmoving creature with glistening eyes. "Mumma, why won't she wake up?" She wailed.



|Tanglekit|Tom|Echokit|Tom|

Echokit bounded out of the nursery, followed by Tangledkit. Tangledkit padded swiftly over to his sister and starred down at the butterfly, examing it's motionless body. "Aw.." He sighed, "She isn't waking up.." He whispered, his voice hurt as he nudged it's tiny, delicate body with one small, soft fluffy white paw.


|Doveflight|She-Cat|

Doveflight swiftly padded over to the two kits, and looked down at the butterfly, not sure what to say to them. "I think she's just tierd," She explained, not wanting to scare her kit.

Rushingpaw grinned broadly, beaming happily. "Sure!" She mewled, bouncing over towards the rabbit already. She stopped, and stared at her companion. She was so eager to start and day and begin training with her mentor.

Crookedsmile gazed at the young apprentices from higher up, just outside the warrior's den. His eyes trailed across the camp to the meek pile of prey, and he padded down the slope that lead to the center, his stomach grumbling.

"Hey, let me some!" She laughed, unable to purr as cats did. "Oh, and yesterday my mentor told me he would go on the dawn patrol, so I should go hunting. Why don't you come with me? Two paws hunt more than one."

History(Optional):: When Kayla was 3 moons, her mother abandoned her, leaving Kayla as a mere kit left to fend for herself. She tried to learn to hunt, but can only catch a mouse, and her catching anything at all is a rarity. She managed to survive for 1 moon, but she knows that without help she will eventually starve to death.

Rushingpaw grinned sheepishly and tucked her paws beneath her chest, waiting to let Whitepaw get the first bite. The pretty she-cat nodded eagerly. "Of course, I'd love to!" She meowed.

Crookedsmile padded past the kits, his head kind-of low to the ground. He didn't want to frighten them, and fought back the urge to tell them what had really happened to the poor creature. He scanned the prey pile, but could find nothing suitable, so he settled for a blackbird and kept his mouth full, afraid he would burst and spill the truth to the kits. Then, they would definitely hate him.

Mistystar opened her eyes as Croockedsmile appraoched the fresh-kill pile she sat up straight, and watched as his head hung low to the ground. "Good morning Crookedsmile." She said softly, her gently yellow/green gaze watching him intently as she announced her presence. "How are you this morning?"
