"Oh no!"
Jake stood, and looked into the sky. Small droplets of rain began to fall from the gray abyss. The first thing he thought to grab was his guitar, and strung it over his shoulder.
"How do we get out of this?"
He asked.

[oikawa]

(Im going to change the story a bit to make it more realistic.)

Kira looked up, and judged by how fast the clouds were moving. Her face fell instantly. "we only have one choice." she said heavily "We have to drive the boat to the nearest land and then wade to shore. Well be dead if we stay in the boat." The wind started to pick up and the rain got harder. "Hold ON!" she yelled and revved up the boat.

Jake held onto the edge of the boat, the water hitting his face in shards, it was turning into ice.

Kira took off suddenly and they were speeding along the waves. "Do you see anything?" she yelled out to Jake in the back. Her eyes searched frantically for any sign of land.

[mothfae]

"Over there!"
He yelled, pointing to an island off in the distance.

[oikawa]

Kira saw it too, and turned sharply in the direction. It was now pouring rain, and the waves were high and choppy. Kira was already drenched and shivering. The wind was icy cold, and very fast. But she knew the worst was yet to come. When they were as close as they could get to the island, Kira yelled back "We have to swim from here! The boat wont go any farther without running aground!"

"Alright!"
Jacob screamed through crashing waves. He put his guitar on the deck, and jumped in. The waves crashed on top of him as he tried to swim to shore.

Kira checked that her hunting knife was strapped to her belt before jumping in after him. She swam desperatley against the current. After what felt like hours, she dragged herself ashore. She threw up water and looked around the beach for Jake. "Jake!" she screamed over the wind "Jake!"

[mothfae]

"Over here!"
Jake called. He was holding his arm as it gushed blood. A rock had split it open while the waves had sent him down.

[oikawa]

She ran hurriedly over to him. "Cmon, we need to get into the protection of the jungle." she said to him. She grabbed his uninjured arm and led him forward. Finnaly they found dense canopy of leaves. "Here, let me look at that." she said calmly.
