Willow rolled her eyes and followed him. Ebony stayed where she was. "Do you wanna help me in the garden? I think the tomatoes and carrots are ready," Kit said. "Or we can do something else."

Kyle looked across the stream, seeing Amethyst. It seemed like she was speaking to him, yet he couldn't hear. The boy gathered the rest of his herbs and waded across the stream. He then walked to Amethyst to hear her question. "Do what you wanna do," he answered with a shrug. "Pursue childhood dreams, travel, settle down and have a family. Or, in my case, search for the family that you lost." He shrugged once more. "There are a lot of things you can do."

Amethyst looked up at him, "Kyle......I can't do any of those right now, well except have a family, but I don't have any one who loves me." She frowned thinking. She slowly stood up and looked at his herbs. Amethyst searched in hers looking for something, then stopped and looked up at him.

"Sure," Elana said with a smile. She walked out with Kit and looked at the door. Dray stayed in the trunk.

"There you are!" Willow said as she peeked into the log. Kit smiled and went to the garden. She gave Elana a sun hat then put on her own. She started picking te vegetables happily.

"And that's because you spend your time working," Kyle replied with a know-it-all attitude. "If you look up from your mortar and pestle every once in a while, you'll find a lot of suitors." He saw that she was eyeing his herbs and held them out. "Want some?"

Amethyst shook her head," No, I was just looking." Amethyst then replied, "Until I met you, I was all about others. Now I take my time to go out for lunch with you. Drink! I think more of other things." She smiled a little, but shook her head at drinking, which tasted horrible.

Elana giggled when she got the hat and put it on. Then started helping Kit. Dray scooted farther into the tree.

Willow picked him up and started flying back to the house. Kitayla smiled at her and continued harvesting. Ebony watched Kit curiously.

The smirked remained, perhaps widening a little. "So, I'm probably a bad influence, huh?" He laughed some. "There's more to life than poultices and wounded people. You just gotta get out there and learn for yourself."

Amethyst smiled," No, your not a bad influence, you taught me. Just to let you know I am very fond of you." Then looked at the ground and saw an herb. She picked it and picked of the dead parts, "Maybe so, but I don't think I would be able to learn by myself."

Elana watched a little, "Kit, do you want me to wash them off for you?" She wanted to be even more helpful. Dray wiggled wanting to explore. Gracie was slowly getting better.

"Yed please," Kitayla said and handed her th basket after she finished. "I'll go get the water," she said then walked off with a bucket. Willow didn't let him go. "You need a time-out," she said and she flew inside.
