"oh zat iz lovely!" stream said, spinning in circles on her hind legs, throwing flower petals every where.

Bird looked around. She saw Spring and Stream and trotted over. "Can you lead a hunting patrol?" she asked Spring.

Flamefur led her patrol into the forest.

Weedclaw followed Flamefur.

Lionclaw sighed and trotted after Flamefur and Weedclaw.

" no! I want to lead the patrol!" Stream said, springimg up and running around in circles. " everyone knows I'm a better hunter!" She saud, playfully jumping up and cuffing spring.

Bird nodded. "You can lead the patrol then," she said.

Stream sprang up. " yes!" she yelled, streaming out of the camp enterance with the others behind her. " where should we hunt?" she asked, spinning around on her hind legs.

"Try hunting by the waterfall," Bird replied.

"Okay!" Stream barged through the under growth to the waterfall. "this is the spot." she said, droping into a hunting crouch as she herd the scratching of little paws. She crept forward into the bush and sprang on a mouse, not knowing that there was a vole next to it. The vole ran out of the bush towards Bird. "Get it!" she yelped through a mouthful of fur.

Bird sprang after the bird and caught in her claws. She landed on the ground and trotted over to Stream with her prey in her mouth.

" Nice catch!" Stream said, around a mouthful of fur. She spiked her ears.....nothing. Stream sighed. "I dont hear anything." she plopped down.

Skinnypaw

Skinnypaw followed the rest of the patrol. she caught up to her mentor. " what do you think my warrior name will be? I hope it's Skinnytail. or maybe Skinnyfoot, but Skinnytail is wayyyyyyyyy better. when am i going to have my warrior's assessment? can i have it now? ill catch a squirrel for you. Or do you want a vole? maybe a blackbird? whatever it takes to pass this ASSESSMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she was running around Flamefur now, kicking up dirt in her path.

Flamefur purred softly. "we can have it tomarrow," she replied.

Bird sighed. "We better get back to the camp. It doesn't look like there is anymore prey around."
