Sunpaw felt a sudden urge of sadness. What was the point of wandering through the forest? She'd just make her mood worse and her stomach hungrier. So, padding through the camp entrance once again, Sunpaw spotted Lionpaw across the clearing. "Hey, Lionpaw!" She called, trying to keep the depression out of her voice. "You need any help?" Why was she even doing this? The young she-cat bounded across the clearing, not waiting for an answer. "Oh- hi, Jayflight." She hadn't spotted the she-cat.

Moonshade had been sitting by the stream for a really long time now. She sighed, sick of staring into the clear water, and yawned. She blinked a couple of time, and the light seemed caught in her dark blue eyes. She looked at her paws before stretching and standing. She turned around, and started padding back towards camp. She decided to hunt a little, and make herself useful, and so caught two mice. She trotted into camp, but her expression gave way the fact that she was still a little down from her conversation with Sunpaw. She dropped the prey on the fresh-kill pile and flexed her claws, feeling suddenly angry at herself. She narrowed her eyes, only wishing Sunpaw and Foxchaser were really her own kits.
With a deep sigh, Moonshade lay down in the shade to wash.

Lionpaw looked up at Jayflight, nearly bouncing with excitement. "Yes!" He explaimed. "I love hunting. As for Frozenheart, I have no idea where she is." Lionpaw explained, his excitement still completely obvious. Now was his chance to impress one of the warriors. With his golden eyes glowing with anticipation, he waited for the she-cat's response. Then he heard Sunpaw. "Oh, hey Sunpaw! Do you want to go hunting with us?" He offered.

Jayflight blinked warmly at Lionpaw before turning to Sunpaw. "Yes, you'd be very welcome." She meowed kindly. She was a young warrior herself and could still remember how hard being an apprentice could be sometimes. Especially when you were cooped up in camp waiting for your mentor to take you to do something interesting. She sat patiently, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Sunpaw smiled, her sadness ebbing away. She'd always liked Lionpaw. "Of course, I'd love to!" I should be on a hunting patrol right now, like Foxchaser. As a warrior. A bitter feeling flooded through her and she squeezed her eyes shut. Pity parties won't help, moron. Suck it up and go hunt with Lionpaw. "Jayflight, have you seen Dust-?" She changed her mind mid-word and shook her head. "Never mind."

Jayflight looked at Sunpaw her gaze searching. "Are you alright Sunpaw?" She meowed, looking concerned. "Are you sure you don't need something...?" She didn't want to pry too much. She definitely didn't want to offend Sunpaw, she absolutely hated when others were mad at her. She hoped that Sunpaw would confide in her though, she seemed rather put off. I sure hope she's alright.

Sunpaw watched Jayflight intently before turning to Lionpaw. "Hey, would you mind giving me and Jayflight a moment to talk in private?" She hoped she wasn't wrong in confiding in Jayflight; the older she-cat seemed trustworthy. And who knew, perhaps she did know something.

Lionpaw tilted his head slightly. Wondering what she wanted to talk about with the warrior. Though it was none of his buisness. "It's fine with." He told Sunpaw. With the sudden feeling that he had nothing to do. Lionpaw started to work on his hunters crouch again. Getting slightly better each time.
