Nieve only struck Tesla again, paining her to do so. She pinned him by his neck, tears in her eyes. "Stand up for yourself!!" she snapped.

Nieve let go of his neck, pulling away with trembling hands. She fell into his chest and held onto his shirt. "Why...?" she asked shakily. "Why won't you do it...?"

Nieve closed her eyes and curled into a small ball on his chest. After a while, she slowly uncurled herself and sat up, looking down at Tesla with sad eyes. She brushed hair from his face and kissed his cheek softly before she stood and wobbled a bit before heading to the door. "...I'm sorry, Tesla....."
