Drake glanced over at Ralen now, starting to limp after him.

Ralen paused then, his ears flicking up suddenly.

Drake frowned when his ears flicked up, becoming uneasy. "What?"

"Shh..." Ralen hissed, his spine bristling some.

Drake fell silent quickly, wondering what he was hearing. He frowned, suddenly feeling unsafe.

[Sabatea]

"Get farther into the woods..." Ralen murmured quietly, backing up some when he heard rustling.

Drake obeyed him without question, started to move back into the woods. He winced every time he moved his wounded leg, growling silently.

The puppy followed Drake, stumbling tiredly.

Ralen backed after Drake slowly, his ears pointed towards the rustling.

Drake continued to limp into the forest, unable to hold back a cough. He winced and continued to walk, sighing.

Ralen jumped when there was a loud bang and a bullet slammed into the ground beside him. He leapt back from the sprayed dirt, "Run!" he screeched at Drake, his ears flat now.
