Marlyn wathed her pokemon, and the wild Weedle. The Weedle didn't look too hurt by the Razor Leaf attak-that helped. She didn't want to faint him, she wanted to catch him. The poison sting flung directly at Green, and he tried to duck, but the weapon embedded itself in his head-leaf. Marlyn winced. Was he poisoned?

"Green, ignore the pain." She ordered, "Tackle it!" Her chikorita nodded, then started running at the bug.

The Weedle stumbled and fell. It wriggled and squirmed. In the end, it was too weak to battle but it would be able to be caught with a Pokeball.

Lucy placed a hand on her chin as her mind worked. "Better Victor," Lucy nodded, "And Remi. Keep it up." She then turned to see how Jagger and Marko were doing. The scene she saw between them got her blood pressure rising. The two were right up in eachother's faces, gritting teeth and beak. Now head to head, they were pushes for dominance. Lucy was too angry for words.

Soon enough, words made it to the surface. "Jagger! Marko!" She erupted, "Get- Hey- Stop- !" At the sound of their trainer's agitated voice, the Totodile and Spearow snapped to attention without even thinking. They jumped backwards from the other in fear for what may happen next. Lucy was red in the face by now, but was still unable to form a sentence. She could only settle with a deep glare to do what words couldn't.

The Weedle stumbled and fell onto its side, wriggling and squirming much like a normal caterpillar would when harmed. Her heart thudded until it was all she could hear was it, pushing the blood inside her. Finally, the moment she was waiting for; her first caught pokemon! Here it was, one of the coolest--and surprisingly, cutest--bug pokemon she had ever seen, just waiting to be captured and zapped into a Pokeball half its size. Her fingers couldn't seem to grab a Pokeball fast enough. She grasped her first of three Pokeballs and tossed it at the bug. She doubted that the Weedle could escape, but she wasn't sure. Could it use a move and run away, or was she being too anxious?

Marlyn grinned as the Pokeball stopped moving. Through the red casing, she could see the Weedle inside. It was injured yes, but it lost that aggressive, feral look and now had a face of indifference. She hooked the ball to her belt and knelt down next to Green. The Weedle's poison bard was still stuck in his head-leaf; lodged in pretty deep. She hissed and in one swift move, yanked it out. He winced, but looked relieved.

"There, that's better. C'mon, we're pretty close to Gainsboro. The nurses at the Pokemon Center can look at your wound, and our new friend." She said and stood. She started walking down the Route; slower now. Green scurried after her.
