Alexa grinned at Amy-Mae, excited to explore the ranch. "Yeah! I've got some questions though, which is the best trail ride? We should go riding when we come back!" Her eyes lit up in anticipation of riding her mare Silver, she had not ridden her since the day before yesterday. She could tell her mare was getting restless. It must be amazing riding around this place, she thought to herself, noticing how big the ranch was when she and James were driving up towards it. Some long strands of blonde hair fell into her face, which she tucked neatly behind her ear. "We don't happen to have to check in with the ranch owner do we? I don't think I've met her yet."

Ally was still in the circle ring, lunging Cosmo around at a trot. From where she was, she could see two girls, and a boy [Amy-Mae, James, Alexandra] standing outside the barn, talking. Amy-Mae, she knew but the other two were new here, so she was probably getting ready to show them around. Her attention had been drawn away from Cosmo as she looked over at them, and the gelding began to throw up his head, bringing Ally's attention back in an instant. She called to Cosmo, soothing him, before bringing him in. She walked him to the gating, where a bridle and saddle was sitting, both of which he has had on him before. In the stable, Cosmo was growing good with the bit, so getting it in now was easy. However, Ally had to take a longer time, showing him the saddle once more, rubbing the numnahs along his side, and then placing it on his back. She had to bring the girth up bit by bit but the gelding stood quietly. He was gorgeous. People always admired his flashy pintaloosa grey coating, his fine gate and nicely held neck. Selling him could be easy, but Ally would have liked him to go to a rider here..Tacked up, Cosmo was sent around the ring again.

Emily nodded "Well it's nice to meet you, Kale." she said. She stepped back, thinking for a moment. Not sure what her aunt wanted her to do, she just skipped the thought and looked around "Would you like me to show you where your horse will be staying?" she asked, beginning to walk out of the office. She turned back around "And then i'll show you where the paddocks and the cabins are." she said, kindly, wanting to make a good first impression, like she always did with the new riders. The girl knew about his arriving, but wasn't quite sure what his story was. All she knew was that he was here for community service and was working here in exchange for room and board, which she respected. She would now have some help to take care of things around the barn. Her aunt usually always put things on her, even when there are plenty of other riders to help, but she really couldn't say anything, because her aunt did take her in after she was taken from her parents when she was five, so she thought she owed it to her.

As Ally continued sending Cosmo at a trot around the high fenced pen, she noticed Emily come out of the barn with yet another new rider. This time, I boy. He was quiet hansom, his hair cut into short black bangs. He seemed to be a nice guy, yet one hard to figure out. There was, however, something about him. As she noted this, her attention didn't stray from Cosmo, but the gelding was still growing highly interested in humans. Lately, he had been pleading or attention from just about anyone. Even now, with people he had never even seen before. The gelding slowed to a stop, sticking his dappled grey coloured, star-centred face, over the high wooden fence, and he let out a soft knicker, one from the back of his throat. This made Ally smile, and walk over to the gelding. For the first time since she had gotten him, she began to see that breaking him and rehoming him wouldn't be so hard after all.

"Sure," Kale nodded, supposing that being kinder would be better. His hands disappeared into his pockets again as he followed Emily out of the office. However, before following her he quickly headed over to the trailer where both Storm and Sora were waiting patiently.

In a quick motion Kale had the rope untied and gave a gentle tug for the stallion to follow. His ears went back as scanned the new area and gave a small jump of surprise when Sora leaped out if the bed of the truck beside. Kale laid on hand on the stud's shoulder, wanting him to be calmer so he wouldn't be so jumpy. Normally nothing about Sora spooked him.

Sora gave a small snort before taking her place at Kale's side. Kale tugged again on the rope to get Storm's attention before leading him over to Emily. The stallion's ears now stood alert as he looked around at the different humans on the property. Sora also let a growl lick her throat as she spotted another dog tied up outside a building.

Kale only had to lean a knee her way to get the mix to stop growling. Sora had wolf blood that ran through her veins, but she looked a lot more like a husky, which often made Kale nervous. Somedays the wolf instincts were strong, and if kids were come to close Kale knew that they could be at a great risk, which was one of the reasons why the rest of Sora's litter had been put down.

Thankfully, Sora was loyal and had always listened to Kale, within reasonable commands. She still a stubborn mutt and sometimes needed to a quick word from Kale to keep her line.

"So, where can this beast stay?" Kale asked, turning his attention from both animals back to Emily so he could get Storm settled into the place. Then he could check out his room where he and Sora would stay.

Emily motioned to the stalls on the left "you can pick any of the stalls on the left. The side is stallions and the right is mares. I don't understand why it's this way, my aunt did it." she said, trying to make conversation so he wouldn't feel unwelcome. She looked around, tapping her chin, thinking. "oh, if you happened to hear anything other than horses, we have some resident goats and a cow. Another one of my aunts brillian ideas. You are free to interact with them as you please." she said. She took her hair down as it was fallin out of the bun. She began fiddling with it, twisting it back into a bun, almost on the top of her head. "the tack room is over there by the office, and the feed room is over there." she said, pointing towards the room at the end of the mare's stalls. She felt like she was talking way too much for her own good, so she went quiet until he was ready to speak after he put Storm away. She smiled watching the stallion "may I say, he's really pretty." she said, taking in the unusual coloring of his coat. She pushed another piece of her bangs out of the way and stood there patiently.

Kale was looking down the row of stalls while he half listened to Emily. Only when Storm snorted and stomped a hoof, did he turn back to her to reply. "He's rather unimpressed by your comment," He said as a small grin tucked at the corner of his lips. "I don't suppose "pretty" is the exact word you meant to describe such a noble, handsome stallion like himself." He joked with a chuckle as Storm shoved Kale forward with his muzzle for mocking him.

Kale only sighed and tugged the flirty yet stubborn stallion down the rows of stalls. He selected the last stall, deciding it was out of the way and in a nice quiet corner right next to a large window. He gave the stud a pat on the shoulder before letting him into the large stall so he could rest and get used to his new surroundings.

After hanging the rope on the door and removing Storm's halter did Kale wandered back to Emily. "What's next?" He asked, hoping it wouldn't take too long for her to show him the rest of the place. It had been a rather long drive and Kale only wanted to collapse on a bed so he could sleep.

Ally decided against actually mounting Cosmo today, as both of them seemed a bit more ditracted then usual. That happened sometimes with young horses. She unclipped the lunge line and took hold of his reins as she rolled it up. Once the ropes were tied neatly, she led him out the gate and back to the barn. Cosmo was boarded on the side with the stallions, although he had no problems with mares. She led the patterned gelding into his stable, noticing the once empty stable beside his was occupied my an appaloosa bay stallion. He was magnificent! Ally looked at Cosmo, who didbt look as scruffy as many ither youngsters beinng broken. He has a flashy look to him. Once Ally emoved his tack, she left the stable and turned to the new boy andEmily. "Hey"
