I have to say I'm really disappointed that Katniss ended up with Peeta. Don't ask me why, because I don't know, but Peeta just annoys me. So freaking much. I always thought she should be with Gale anyways. Of course, by the end of Mockingjay, I ended up hating all the characters and everything that happened. It just... I don't even know what it was. It was a good series, and I'd read it again, but I just got really freaking angry at everything by the end. x3

I agree. I have always loved Peeta and I wanted them to be together. I hated want happened in Mockingjay but I love that Katniss actually loved Peeta in the end. And the only reason Katniss didn't want to have kids was because she didn't want them to be part of the Hunger Games, even once that was all over.

Yeah! They went through alot of stuff, and no offense to Gail lovers, but he didn't help, while Peeta was there for her. Except for when he was hi-jacked, but that doesn't count. XD

Well, Gale did help. He helped with hunting, gave her somebody to talk to and trust in the forest, cared for her family while she was at the games...stuff like that, things which although may not mean a lot to us (or we don't even think about them), but to Katniss they certainly meant a lot. Anyways, Gale couldn't go through the Hunger Games with her anyways - Katniss asked him to take care of her family.

She would never have forgiven him if he had volunteered to go with her. She would have beat him to a pulp right at the justice building for leaving her family.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause-and-effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.....stuff."
