"It's okay, I guess." Shadow wasn't sure what to say but thank fully just then a young doe raced in front of them. "What the?" Shadow raced after the doe.

She chases after her and leaps over her and snatches the doe by the neck,then tackles the doe to the ground,trying to impress Shadow. He drops it when he knows it's dead and asks Shadow "Do you want a piece or save it for dinner tonight?"

"Well, I guess we can have an early dinner tonight, at the lake?" Shadow suggested, smiling at him, obviously impressed that he had killed the doe in one bite.

She stood to go, then added, "Say hello to Dancing Bracken and Faith for me. They are my pups." With that, she vanished.

Faith padded silently through the forest, her head still spinning when she fell a while ago. She finally came to the rock she tripped over and began to dizzily shove it out of the way. Let's not . . .have anymore accident. . .accidents. She thought, as though thinking tired her.

She brightens up then sees two wolves that look like they're mates, she takes a better look and sees that it is Shadow and Midnight, so she says "Oops...did I ruin something?"

He turns at Cherish and feels embarrassed "U-u-u-ummm..."

She flicked her ears, and slowly walked over, silently asking, What's going on here? She took a deep breath, and her head began to spin again. She didn't show it, though. Her lungs began to feel shallow, and she walked a little way away and lay down, her head throbbing.
