She thought back to the 'incident' between Caia and Trinity when Angela had come back. Perhaps Caia might have been fine with it if Casta hadn't been there. "No offense. You humans are irritating sometimes."

............... Damien looked down the corridors as Cordell... Well, Damien wasn't sure what Cordell actually was doing, and Damien couldn't be bothered to think about the Fade. It was either that he couldn't be bothered, or didn't want to. He watched the door slid shut behind them and then continued looking down the corridors. "I think someone is looking for us." Damien pointed to the fact that the dust on the floor further down the corridor had been moved by two or three sets of footsteps. This was after all a corridor that students weren't allowed in, but like the rest of Horia it gathered dust (because of an 'incident' with the cleaners). "If it's the nurses I'm hiding back in the tunnels." He rubbed his bandaged shoulder as he said that.

Adelaide could remember when they had tried to make Trinity disappear, when she'd been tried for murder it hadn't actually been Trinity that had saved herself (she was too busy irritating everyone) but Damien had begun black-mailing them. Somehow, Damien knew more secrets than he let on. "We still need to find out how exactly he knew all that information..." She mumbled, more to herself than to Esme. "A few minutes? Alright, do you want me to meet you outside? Or will you be fine?"

Lars smiled and shook his head, "no" he said, "well... I'm not, I mean no one likes pain...unless you're a masochist, but..." e trailed of thinking, now that he thought about it it was true, he always felt a bit comfortable with the pain around, when it wasn't (of course) something excruciating, " but that sort of pain is a bit welcome" he concluded crossing his arms, his gaze flickered to the mark on his wrist for a moment, the spell Damien had sort of 'given' him, 'to use it when the pain can't be handled' he thought, he had tried his best not to use any of it and he didn't, you never knew when you would need something like that and seriously he thought it was better to keep it 'untouched' for a bit more.

"Right, I've seen a....a..." he frowned, what sort of tree was it? He bit his lip slightly before remembering, "a mango tree when I came down through this way...mango is nice, perhaps I could go and bring a few" he said.

Alex turned to her and tilted his head serious for a moment before letting the shade of a smile come to his face for a second, "he has a spell cast on him, he is cursed... Cursed in a good way, sorry I just can't find other word for it" he turned his gaze back to the screens, "you find humans annoying? You should meet human kids then" he lightly smiled and leaned back on the chair making it rock slightly back and forth, he closed his eyes tightly for a moment and made the  chair stop rocking before opening his eyes again.

He yawned after a few moments and moved his arms so now they were now over his stomach once again as if he was hugging himself, this had gone into an habit, a bad and weird one in fact, having no one other then the demons that took 'care' of him he had learned how to bring himself some comfort and this stance was one he used the most, specially when they decided to cut him up once, all the time he was healing and all he had passed like this, with his hands tightly around his stomach, having pressure over a wound made it feel better in some way, calm down the pain, and well this was a comfy position to be on.

Staring at the screens once again his eyes got caught by some movement on a river, he frowned and stared at it for a moment, "hey... Either that is a drowning person or I found a mermaid" he declared after a few moments of failed attempts to discover what it was, he couldn't see the mermaids tail and for that reason didn't know what she was.

...............As Trinity slowly began to wake up, since she never stayed asleep long when there was something that needed dealing with, she related the feeling to being underwater. Every sound sounded like it was spoken through water, and there was the weight of all that water pressing against her head. However, she found that she could breathe, which was always good.

Trinity didn't ever dream, and supposed that demons didn't dream and that that was the cause for it. So it was easy for her to be able to tell sleep from reality.

There was something important, right at the back of her mind... She just couldn't remember it, which was no surprise since she wasn't exactly sure where the back of her mind was. She remembered that each time she forgot something, she'd check her mask, so she attempted to. Though with scraps of energy left, all she could do was shift slightly and try to open her eyes.

It wasn't long before they got to the infirmary, and the guards lay Trinity on one of the beds as some nurses ran over. Were all demon hunter nurses over-eager? It wasn't long before they were carefully picking glass out of Trinity's head and neck while the hunter was curled up on her side and mumbling curses in demon at whoever was messing about with her head. It was after all, best to deal with Trinity's injuries when she was unconscious or half asleep. Less noses got broken that way.

...............Arren scowled when he finally came across the infuriating Lure demon. (Read next bit in Mrs. Weasly's voice from Harry Potter from this scene! because I'm hyper) "Where have you been?!" (back to normal reading voices!) He looked outraged and irritated, and it was all that annoying Grey woman's fault. The faster she was gone, the better. Arren could think up plenty painful and agonizing ways for Caia to leave the world, he just needed the watch first.

"We're taking the hunter to the Otherworld, the watches always go back to their owners there." He turned his back and started walking off, expecting Hakan to follow. If Hakan chose not to, Arren would probably enjoy calling forth lightning because of the mood he was in. Lure kebabs.

Arren's animosity could be a powerful force if it was ever turned into one. The Chance watches were a jealously guarded secret, almost as much as the Lure power sources, so even Hakan didn't know everything there was to know about them. However, he was almost certain that emotions could be turned into some sort of energy, or at least empower the aura of the bearer. If Arren did manage to get his hands on the watch, there as no question he would become stronger. Now if only it would give him some brains to think with. Or at least reason with. Hakan knew Arren wasn't stupid, just unreliable and unreasonable.

Really, the watches go back to their owners in this world, too. Granted, it might take longer, but not too much longer. Arren either didn't know that or was being impatient. Both were extremely possible, and most likely, both were true. "I was updating the Lure council of my presence in this life." It was the truth. While waiting for Trinity to show up in the forest, he made a quick report to the Council, since the last they had heard, he died. Hakan slowly followed Arren, since he felt there was no need to rush. This was a test for Trinity and Solitude, after all. Hakan could care less about Arren's ambitions. However, there was another thing about these watches that he was almost certain of. The Watches were connected to their bearer through the aura. Since each aura is like a fingerprint, that was how it returned to the owner. If this hunter was taken to the Otherworld, it might take even longer for the watch to find her, simply because the aura would change. For a demon, that was never a problem. Aura was the same no matter what realm they were in. However, a human cannot go into the Otherworld unprotected and not receive what they call a "shadow" as compensation. The Otherworld's demonic energy takes its toll on a human.

Did Arren know that? Hakan wasn't sure, though he expected the druid didn't. If he did, he would be gloating about his knowledge. Still, it might be possible, a two percent chance. Hakan would tell him at the last second if nothing was done before hand.

Amos couldn't heal people, or do any sort of medical procedure, so he was authentically useless in the infirmary. He stood to the side, avoiding the traffic and watching as the staff got to work picking glass out of Trinity's head. That wound looked like it hurt, and Amos couldn't help but wonder who shoved her into a bunch of glass, or if she accidently did it herself. That was also very possible.

Moving on to more important matters... where was his smoothie?

............... "If the council still use the same system they had in place three years ago, they won't know until someone actually tells them. They are a bit on the useless side." He chuckled a bit when Cordell stood in front of the door to the tunnels as if to stop Damien sneaking back in to avoid whatever was wanted. When he heard the footsteps of someone coming, and they turned around the corner, Damien started heading pretty quickly in the opposite direction to the approaching nurse. He didn't stop when they started calling his name either, and sped up when they sped up.

...............Castanet raised her eyebrows, "To be honest, since I know Trinity, and she's more like a child than any human can actually be, I don't really want to meet any human kids. However, here I am, talking to one while watching an arena full. Well this was never a job prospect when I was at school."

She watched as Alex hugged himself, according to the nurses rather rushed, report that Castanet had related to Trinity's way of speaking, this boy did that a lot. She knew it was likely a habit picked up from his rather eventful time with demons.

Castanet's head raised to the screen displaying the possible mermaid. She tapped the screen to change the camera angle, and a mermaid's tail was revealed. "Mermaid. I think most hunters can either swim or don't fall in." She tapped the screen again and the camera angle changed back once more.

Her eyes flickered over to the screen that was constantly focused on Ethel, and she raised her eyebrows when she noted the water bottle that Ethel seemed to have acquired.

............... "Have fun dealing with your cousin." Adelaide chuckled as the dial tone clicked on. She hung the phone back on the receiver and headed outside, glad to be finally out of the cold office. She made her way outside pretty quickly, and even though she was tempted to jump into one of the islands many swimming pools, she had things to attend to. She settled for something in between, putting her work next to a pool, weighted down by rocks. She didn't have to worry if it got wet, she could control water. However it meant she could be in the pool and doing her work at the same time.

...............Arren yawned as if what Hakan was saying was boring. He didn't really care if Hakan had been talking to the Lure council. He would have demanded to know why Hakan had been talking to someone while there were two hunters on the loose, but being Arren he didn't think about that. Perhaps Hakan was going deliberately slow just to wind Arren up? Arren felt like turning around and yelling at the demon, though it was only a short walk to the stone circle so he didn't want to waste his breath.

Finally, Arren commended that someone had actually done as he'd asked. The lizardmen that he'd told to bring Caia down to the stone circle were already there, though they were standing around rather uselessly. He stormed over to the irritating woman who was still passed out from the unfortunate amount of electricity forced through her mind, and started mumbling something under his breath. He knew that hunters gained shadows, but didn't know about how it might affect their aura, he'd just assumed it would happen. So he was carefully blocking the hunter from getting a shadow. Though, after he had the watch he'd quite happily break the enchantment and watch the painful process of getting a shadow before he killed her.

When done, he moved away from Caia, sure that the enchantment would hold. Then headed to open the portal.

............... Deryn was quite annoyed with the people who'd actually served up the smoothie, because they'd refused, due to 'financial issues'. So he'd asked for two smoothies, a liter in each glass and added a bit of mind control over the top. Deryn wasn't that good at mind control, but it had worked. He kicked the infirmary door open with his foot and held out the two smoothies to Amos. "Exactly one liter in each, sorry my mind control isn't the best."

Lars sighed and shook his head, "no, I don't need" he said, "I have other bottle" he said backing up, "I'm leaving my bag behind ok?" he said heading into the woods and not exactly waiting for an answer. H soon got onto his wolf form and shook his pelt for a moment before padding through in silence.

A few minutes passed and he still hadn't found the mango tree although he was sure she was around because he could feel the fruit's sweet smell.

Alex smiled softly for a moment, "poor you" he said before coming serious again, "mermaids... Other interesting creatures those are" he said, "and I wonder what they actually do down there on their caves when they don't drown their preys" he frowned a bit and coughed slightly, "I mean... What is the use for kidnapping someone if you're a mermaid? What would you get in exchange for the person?"

............... Damien glared at Cordell, "I have enough to deal with as it is, I don't need the nurses telling me I need to rest as well, that's just more time taken up." Damien ignored the comment from the nurse about taking time to actually eat as well. He sighed quietly, doubting he'd be freed from the wall until the nurse had finished what she'd come in the first place to say. "Just so you know, I point blank refuse to go in the infirmary."
The nurse stepped forwards, having waited patiently for Damien to finish being irritating, though he was still glaring, at least he wasn't running off any more. Figuring the message should be short, the nurse quickly relayed the message from the council; "Caia and Trinity disappeared from the tournament arena, and Trinity showed up at the council residence a few minutes ago, unconscious after sending a distress call."
Damien felt rather silly for attempting to run off then, but was more concerned with Trinity being in the council residence and Caia being missing. "Cordell I'd rather like my arm back now, and a phone."

They kidnap people in attempt to find a pure soul, because that's what they want when they drag you underwater. The purer the soul, the happier the mermaid. Only, no one has a pure soul. Maybe children that have just been born, but everyone is tarnished by demonic ways some way or another." Castanet yawned slightly, "That's why they don't live in the Otherworld, they hate the souls of demons."

............... "I am barely an adult so if I want to be a child I will. I know you don't have your phone, I'm pretty sure that you don't know how to actually turn one on and answer it." Damien sighed quietly when the nurse came up with the same answer. "Right then. Plan B." He walked over to the window and roared, pretty much like a dragon would. There was a reply a few seconds later and Damien turned to Cordell with a grin, "How do you feel about jumping out of windows?" He was gone within seconds, before the nurse could stop him anyway. A huge dragon rushed up to meet the falling teacher and Damien easily caught hold of the jagged scales. Damien's dragon then flew back down beneath the window to wait for Cordell.

............... Damien found flying a brilliant past time, Trinity found it hard to teleport onto something that was moving at incredible speed and other people weren't there in the first place. Even though most people would find it scary being so high up and going so fast, Damien thought it brilliant. It wasn't that hard to hang on either, all you had to do was hold onto the scales, the spaces between them were quite deep and were natural hand holds, they were also pretty smooth, so lying down on them wasn't uncomfortable either. By Damien's timing, they would get to the council residence in about ten minutes. Dragons could fly pretty fast. Of course you'd never find a dragon that would admit flying by griffin was faster even though it was true. He was pretty much unaware of Cordell relating him to his sister,since he was too busy talking to Durendel who apparently wasn't very happy at being woken up.

Lars was on his human form looking at the floor looking for nice fruit that had fallen down, he gave up after a bit and ended up climbing the mango tree soon choosing big colorful magoes with sweet smell and in fact a delicious look, he took his shirt off and made some sort of bag with it (lol it is possible) and set the fruits on it,when he had enough he climbed down the tree and took a glance around before starting to make the way back to the river which would take longer on his human form.

"Pure souls" he thought about that for a moment, 'so they're sort of soul steelers...or life stealers' he thought, "they feed of human or other pure souls then..." he murmured "see? Iteresting creatures, and the Sirens, those are even more interesting...they sing"

Damien was too busy to notice if anything was behind them, and the sound of the wind rushing past messed up a person's hearing, which was another reason he liked flying, he could never hear his phone. Finally, after a bit of persuasion and a few promises from Damien, Durendel began flying in a straight line. Damien turned to look at Cordell, "Caia hated it last time I jumped out a window. Admittedly I didn't open it first..." He grinned, knowing that the moment he got back to Horia the nurses were going to kill him, before bringing him back to life and making him stay in the infirmary again. Being in the happy-go-lucky mood that came with flying, Damien reasoned that he'd just fire the lot of them (even though he couldn't since the nurses were emplyed by the council).

..............."Sirens are aggravating." Castanet mumbled. "They don't play nicely when you kick them in the face and smack them round the head with a gun." She folded her arms, irritated with the mention of the Sirens. "There's no Sirens in the arena."
