Leo smiled at her and continued to the lunch line. He picked up a tray and gathered his lunch, a slice of pizza, an apple, some chips, and a gatorade. He walked to a table and sat down.

Kayson looked at the food and then went to sit next to Leo. Most days she didn't eat lunch.

Leo looked at her, a little confused. "Why aren't you eating?" he asked, biting into his pizza.

"It's part of my training." Kayson explained. She grabbed a water out of her backpack and opened it.

Leo's brows furrowed. "But, don't you need energy to swim?" he asked with his mouth full.

"Thats why I eat my food that isn't disgusting. And a MAJOR health code violation." Kayson told him.

Leo laughed, his mouth empty now. He set his pizza down and picked up his napkin. He laid it on top of the pizza. Grease soaked through the napkin immediately. "Uh, ew." he muttered.

"Exactly my point." Kayson pointed out.

"Yeah, uh, I have no appetite now." he mumbled and pushed the pizza to the edge of his tray. He opened up the Gatorade bottle and drank the whole thing.

"Do you know where we go after lunch?" Kayson asked Leo. She stood and threw the water away.
