~.: Aden Cross:. ~ .:Rouge:. ~ .:Male:. ~ .: Appears 24:. ~ .:Human/Dark Elf:. ~ Avian Form:. ~ Aden watched as Amira and Amore strode into the air while hovering patiently for the rest of them. He himself had second thoughts however, and the thought of going to the shores of Pavalon would certainly be an experience. Last time he visited he had been much younger and had only frequented the area once on one of his assassination assignments. Best not to think of those days though. Hugin seemed undaunted by Gaenor as he flew from his perch to one of the large black dragon's horns. He gave Sorina a nervous grin as they both knew that the dragon would rather do without carrying the half elf again. "Right, were one big happy family then, aren't we Gaenor?" Following after Sorina as she mounted the beast, he was careful not to press his luck too much with the dragon unlike his fun with Amore.
As they prepared for take off he noticed their little stowaway as the large spider Arachnia climbed from one of Sorina's bags. "Ah, I see your pretty little spider has decided to join us once more. It's a pleasure to have you along Arachnia, I'm glad to have you on our side." Giving a small nod to the insect and showing proper respect he noticed Sorina fiddle with a very intricate dagger. "Interesting dagger you have there. Planning on using it any time soon?" He recalled the last enchanted dagger he had used of hers and made a note to acquire a new sword and dagger for both of them. Since his melted as did hers shortly after, it was the least he could do to make up for the lose of one of her weapons. "Hopefully Pavalon has some good metal smiths. They supposedly have a much warmer climate there so I'm sure the ore they mine is of top quality." He was trying to recall his last visit and of any plazas that would carry a good dealer to trade with. "Once were there I'll return that knife I 'borrowed' and find me a good sword since my other one melted. Maybe buy a pair of dual swords hopefully, any preferences on steel you would like?" It was idle conversation to pass the time on the flight over but important nonetheless. Hugin seemed perfectly comfortable as he nestled between the dragon's horns atop his head and Aden held on tight for the dragon's usual speed.

Sorina glanced at Aden as he addressed Arachnia, a little pleased that he wasn't disgusted, frightened, or disarmed by the spider's presence, size, and appearance. She couldn't count the number of people who tried killing Arachnia, or running away after Sorina told them that she was indeed poisonous when they asked. What they never stayed to find out was that Sorina always kept vials of antidote with her, and Arachnia would never bite anyone unless on command, or if she was frightened. All a person had to do was not frighten the spider. It really wasn't that hard. After a while, Sorina just stopped telling people about Arachnia's poisonous nature, and calmly put the spider away whenever someone saw her. She liked tha Aden wasn't the least freaked out at the sight of her.
"Well, that depends on what to use it for." Sorina replied, fumbling with her currently unenchanted dagger. "That dagger is special, sort of a...one-time deal. The enchantments can only be used once, probably because it purposefully drains itself when activated. Then the dagger is just a dagger until I enchant it again, and since the spells are...difficult to cast, and not necessarily smiled upon, I have to be careful choosing when to use it."
She went back to focusing on the dagger in her hand. She would only lightly enchant it now, with a protection and enhancement spell. The rest would have to wait until they actually reached Pavalon. "Steel?" Sorina mumbled, only half listening. "I don't know, I've never personally seen raw Pavalon metal. I'll probably just come with you to choose anyway, since a dark elf wandering the streets would spark a bit of conflict." Sorina shifted into a more comfortable position, placing the dagger on her lap and running her fingers along the blade. Quietly, a string of words in the Old Language, the universal tongue of magic, came flowing steadily from her lips as she spoke the spells. She didn't pay attention to much else other than the enchanting, even when Gaenor informed her that Pavalon was appearing in the horizon.

I've been dumped a boatload of work to do before college, so I will post when I can. Life is my nemesis.
