Melissa snapped her head to the whistle. She growled at Riley. How did she get free?! Hot anger and embarrassment surged beneath her skin at Riley's remark. She watched as Alex gave her a stare. It made her flinch. Melissa felt herself shrink. He's really going to turn on me now! She thought as she straightened up. Melissa forced herself to dash after Alex.

Emily smiled. "I'm Emily." She said. Emily heard a whistle and people talking. Then, she heard feet pounding on the forest floor. Emily ducked down. She let out a low growl and got the dagger out of her boot. She held it tightly.

Boys

Jason heard foot-steps. They were quick, and he assumed someone was running. Around 2 to 3 people. Jason stiffened. Riley, don't die. His mind hissed.

Killer grabbed a piece of meat and ate it. Then, he whirled around and pounded after Riley. He passed Alex and Melissa, and came up at Riley's side. He let out a bark.

Riley looked at Killer. She fumbled with the knife in her pocket, She grasped it and ran. She saw the cliff right ahead and ran to it. She stood in the clearing. As she gulped down all of her fear she said trying not to be shaky "2 against 1... I hope they like violence because someone is not coming out alive "

Katie looked across the Clearing. She jogged up to a little patch of mud and looked in it. There was a giant footprint of an animal. She jumped over the patch and kept on running. She ran up to a meadow and saw a bloodstained spot. She bit her lip trying not to scream but a little almost like whimper came out.

Maddie looked around. She spotted the Cornucopia and ran to a tree near it. As she was climbing it she spotted a bird over her head, screaming. She shook her head and kept climbing. When she got to the top she twirled her hair with her fingers.

Ally woke up to find her screaming. Acting fast she covered her mouth with her hand. She tried to remembered the dream. She remembered her family screaming and crying as she got picked for the hunger games. She got up and went for a walk to find food

Boys

Alex ran through the woods. He felt anger rise through him. He turned around and snarled at Mellissa "How Could you let her go!!" He threw a knife at her just missing "you can't even tie a knot!!" He looked back then at her and he ran.

Joe looked at Emily. He nodded and said "Nice name, Whats your skill" He smiled at her. Then ducked down with Emily. He covered her mouth with his sleeve.

Melissa growled. She tightened her hands into fists. Her face flushed red again. He's going to turn on me! Just like Riley was saying... Melissa thought. Then, she looked behind her, and ran back to camp. Once she was at the camp, she took all of the supplies she would think she would need later on, and ran off toward the Cornucopia.

Emily waited until the foot-steps were gone. Even though Joe had his sleeve over her mouth (which she didn't like), it comforted her. How could you let her go?! You can't even tie a knot!! Emily heard someone yell. She lifted Joe's sleeve away. "I don't really have one. Just... I know a lot about animals. That's it." Emily whispered, afraid they still might be heard.

Boys

Jason saw Riley, Killer following. Hope flittered in his chest like a bird. Yes! She made it here! But then, a feeling of dread washed over him as he spotted Alex. But she might not be here for long... He thought his hands going numb. He knew he couldn't just sit and watch a death.
Killer skidded to a halt beside Riley. He turned and growled and Alex. As he watched him come closer, he realized that the female following him was gone. Where is she? He wondered.

Evan was still in his tree when he heard the scream. He looked around and saw a small girl. Evan ducked down, pressing himself closer against the branch he was on. He shut his eyes tightly. Please don't let her see me. He told no one in particular.

Riley got nervous as she saw Alex. She stood there then said "Where did your little friend who needs to learn how to to tie a knot?" She let an evil grin come across "you know we could team up, and get that Melko boy, get his dog to... Allies? But if we are i get to kill him " She said with a smile and held out her hand

Maddie sat in the tree, She saw another figure and stopped breathing Please dont let him see meshe thought and felt her scar. She kept looking at the boy,

Joe rose his head then said "Nice, mine is making fires" he said in a whisper. Then he listened to the sound o the people running away and he got up. "Better not leave here until.."

Alex looked at Riley "Allies... What, why would" He stopped and thought about the Allies for a second Once we kill Melko i could kill her Then he smiled back "Allies" he said and shook her hands

Emily smiled. Fires... Well, they can come in handy. She felt like saying, but didn't say anything in reply. Emily stared up at Joe, listening to his words. "Until... what?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

Melissa ran. Her legs ached like h*ll, but she wouldn't stop running. Her muscles were tense, and she felt very weary. Finally, when she ran into a tree with notice, she tumbled onto the grass. The contents of her half-zipped pack spilled out. She was woozy for a few moment, but pulled herself to her feet and looked at the supplies. She shoved them back into the bag and zipped it up all of the way.

Evan blinked, his eyes a little blurry from having them closed for to long. He looked at the girl. Then, his leg slipped. His other leg slipped. Soon, it was just his arms clinging to the branch. His legs churned the air. Help! Help!! He tried to yell, but his throat was dry. All that came out was a croaking noise. Evan slipped off of the branch and hit the ground with such force it made a loud smack! and Evan yelped in pain. His body felt like it wasn't there anymore.

Jason felt his whole body go numb. He was the "Melko Boy." His heart twisted. He ducked down. Did she mean that to Alex, or was she just playing him. Jason shut his eyes as tight as he could, making them hurt. I don't know... I don't know... He thought, gritting his teeth.

Riley Gave an evil. She raised her eyebrows and said "Remember I get to kill him"And she walked a little distance then said to herself "And i know where he his"She jumped out of the bush and kicked Jason, Then grabbed his arm and said in a harsh whisper "Sh*t up and go with it" She turned back to Alex and said "Grab me the Dagger"

Maddie let out a shriek when she heard snapping of twigs and someone falling. She held her knife then said "Move and i-i-i will Th-hrow" She stumbled over some of the words

Alex muttered something under his breath. then turned to see her attacking Jason (Not really attacking but i couldn't think of another word)When let a grin creep across his face and he said "Fine" He grabbed the Dagger and walked to her.

Joe looked at her. Then he said "Sorry i stop my sentence without saying all of the words...Sometimes" He looked at her then remembered he had to answer her question. He listened for a moment then said "Until now i guess"

Emily sighed. She blinked. "Is what your saying mean, that you want to leave here?" She asked. She looked over at her back-pack. Then, she wipped her sweaty palms on her pants. She brushed the sweat off of her forehead.

Boys

Jason gasped as he grabbed her. But, when she reassured him by telling him to shut up and go with it, he smiled. Jason didn't keep his smile for long though. Go with it... He told himself, and began to thrash about, yelling. When the dagger reflected the sun and the light hit his face, he felt horror. Riley told me to go with it, but Alex doesn't know that!! He thought with a small gulp. Riley might protect me though. Even though he was thinking that, he felt a prickle of doubt.

Evan tried to look up, but his head was spinning to fast and the world was on a tilt. He open his mouth slowly, pain starting to flow in. He wanted to say "help me," but when he tried, all that came out was a gurgling noise. Evan felt a pool of his own blood under him. His eyes began to shut, drowziness overtaking him. He eyes shut all of the way, and his world was swallowed by blackness.... ((DEAD!!))

Riley said "Give me the Dagger" Once she got it she held it in her hands, Her sweaty palms made it slippery in her hands. She kicked the back of his legs trying to make him fall t the ground.

Maddie gasped in horror and climbed down the tree. She threw her knife so it almost hit him and she went closer. I have to get his stuff Even though she didn't want to do it she snatched what-ever he had and ran for her tree

Joe ran his finger threw his air. Then paused he looked at her "do YOU want to leave here"He fumbled with his fingers then said "And it doesn't matter"
