This looks like another...much less experienced artist did it, to be honest. Is this batch it as far as changes go, or might we see a few (smaller) revisions in the future?
Oh well, like you say, I'll just stop collecting them if I don't like them. ^^ Don't mean to complain, just sharing my opinion.
*ducks rocks*
She wanted to give them more a cartoony look to fit in with the rest of CS. They weren't more "Cute" (Well they were cute if you like horses and stuff) But they weren't the smilie "Hug me" type. I thought the old ones were cute, but only cause I think horses were cute.
Do I make any sense?
Yeah, I know. I read the explanation and everything. My problem's not with the cuteness (I thought the eyes on the adults were plenty cartoony and cute), I just think they look less skillfull than equi's old lines. I don't know...everyone likes the new art, I'm not gonna argue with them.

The horse's anatomy is lovely (mid-kick? :3) and I really love how eager the pony looks. <33
So far, I like the new linearts a LOT. They're more cartoony than before, which makes them look adorable!
Will the draft lineart be changing too? C:
I agree, I like the cartoon style!
I agree too, I wasn't that fond of the newborn stages but these are too adorable. I liked the old ones but I have to agree that they really didn't fit in with the crowd. They really did look too realistic; as lovely as they were.

I have figured out what bugs me with the horse foal lineart. When they are laying down, the elbow is too far forwards which makes the top of the leg look too long. This in turn makes the neck look very short, stunted almost, and in a very uncomfortable position.

The bucking foal lineart, however, is absofreakinglutely GORGEOUS, and I love both the pony foal and standing pose!
And even with the niggly shoulder/elbow/leg thing, I still much prefer this lineart to the last!
