Trade 1 is relatively fair.

Trade 2 is unfair to you.

That's not true both are overpay.
Even with demand (sorry for not adding before) you can get fair trades for any of those pets it just might take longer. Most people really want the PPS dragon but can't afford to overpay so I would say either one would not be bad.
