Meet the Masots, Piper and Ralow!

Hello one and all. ^,^ Welcome to the B.C.A.A, formerly known as the Big Cat Art Awareness!

You probably are all wondering, why have a big cat army? I friend iLunar and I were discussing this one night, and decided something. Wolves are so popular on CS nowadays, as well as many other canines. We feel as if...the felines of the world are underappriciated in today's society. So, the BCAA was born. Find your furry and fluffy feline friends, characters and fursonas, and come join us in our army!

The B.C.A.A Objective
The main objective of the BCAA is to provide a friendly place to display all feline characters and fursonas, as well as art. Come show everyone your talent and characters!

Here you are free, encouraged even, to talk about anything that involves your characters and fursonas! Feline, of course. <3 Art, personalitites, stories, anything!

Rules:
**** Remember, large felines only. No domestic. <3

1. Be nice and respect others and their fursonas/characters.
• Don’t flame people for their fursona’s looks, personality, info, etc.
• Do NOT give any kind of critique to someone's fursona unless they have posted on the thread that they want it.
2. Any fursona based off of any feline is welcome here!
3. Art
• No art theft at all. It won’t be tolerated and you will be reported. If you are a repeating offender. You will be banned. This also goes for fursona designs.
• All pictures must be PG-13.
• If it is a “nude” anthro, put a link and a warning in red.
4. No Spam
• Please, please, PLEASE! Try not to over spam like so and so says "Hi" that would be considered spam you could say "Hello and welcome new person" or something like that.
• No one or two word sentences at all. It is spam.
• No chatspeak.
• It’s okay if you post an adoptable you have of your sona, such as a squiby. But don’t post drag caves and ask for clicks. It’s spam.
5. Respect the mods; Pay attention to what the mods and mini-mods post. Pay attention when anyone posts.
6. Changes (of any kind)
• Username- Post on the thread or PM me and I will change it.
• Fursona-
7. If you are in a joint account, please state who's sona it is.
8. Do NOT repost forms. If you aren't accepted, PM me or a mini-mod your form and say you posted but weren't accepted. This is so I don't get confused when I look through forms.

Question and Answer
Some misunderstandings and myth clarification so there's no arguments about one of these.
If you see that I got something wrong here, let me know! I'd like this to be as helpful as possible.

Q: What is a big cat?
A: A big cat is any large feline. Domestic cats are NOT included in this group. Lynx, Ocelots, Bobcats, Servals and other smaller members are often mistaken for being just wildcats. Just because they are considerably smaller than their cousins does not mean they are not wild cats.
Most common big cats are the Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, Leopard, Jaguar, and Panther.
Less common but equally important is the Bobcat, Ocelot, Lynx, Serval, and Snow Leopard.
Of course, there is many, many more big cat species, including variations of these cats. (ex, a King Cheetah) Almost any cat that is not of a domestic family and is wild is considered a big cat.

Q: What is the difference between a Black Panther and a regular Panther?
A: Simple; A Black Panther is black and a regular Panther is spotted. Other than that, they are the same in build and characteristics.
Black Panthers are often associated with black Leopards and black Jaguars; This is true, and they are also called Black Panthers. To find the different you need to find the differences in build; A Jaguar is bigger than a Leopard. The Leopard has a larger bottom jaw. A Jaguar's back is more high arched.

The Summer Event Is On!
As it nears summer, everyone wants to go outside, jump in the pool, and go to the beach. Or just chill in the AC and laugh at all the sweating people outside. But is there something special and unusual your character does during the summer?

For this contest, we want you to draw, not commission someone to draw your idea for you, what your character does during the summer. The most original ideas win. It should go with your character's personality. If your character has a solitary, dark personality, would they really be hanging out on the beach? No. But they must do something!
This contest is not based on the artist's skill level. We don't care if it's some elaborate, amazing 10-hour piece. [although that would be nice, I must say.] We're basing this off how creative you can be. So use your imagination!
