Sunpaw strode across the clearing, calling for her mother. "Moonshade!" Her pelt prickled with annoyance as she exited the camp. Moonshade had practically disappeared. As much as Sunpaw wanted to find Duststorm so she could train for her second test, she felt it was partially her responsibility to manage her mother as well. Moonshade had always taken care of Sunpaw and Foxchaser, now the young she-cat wanted to help keep her mother safe, though she felt a bit foolish thinking about it.

Foxchaser raised his head, hearing Raccoonstrike's call. The young tom hurriedly stepped out of his nest, yawning. "Raccoonstrike, you wanted me?" He blushed, worried that he sounded too commanding. "I mean, do you need me for something?" His pelt prickled with embarrassment, but he overcame it and bounded out the den, accidentally shoving a denmate aside. Then he cursed himself, he wasn't an apprentice anymore, no matter how young he was. Warriors didn't prance around, now did they?

Cinderpaw rocked back on her haunches, taking in the thin layer of fog hovering just above the stream's surface like a curtain. The milky pink light washed over her young face and illuminated her creamy eyes, making her look five moons younger than what she really was. Her mind filled with dark reminisces of her sister...her mother...Then, bam! Cinderpaw felt a dizzying sense of hatred toward her father - who knew where he was. The warrior apprentice spat on the ground near to her, disgusted with the memories she once called good. It occured on her that the dawn patrol would be coming around any moment, and the red she-cat decided she would join in. If only she knew if Burntpaw was with them...A sudden splash brought her attention back to the silent-running stream, and as she looked toward the noise she saw the silver flick of a trout's tail surface in the water. "Now you show..." she murmured slyly then got to her paws, her tail snaking around her paws and forest debris.

Raccoonstrike dipped his head to Robintail. "Thank you." He replied, stepping back. For a moment, he was at a loss of what to do. He could track down Cinderpaw, but that might take too long for it to be worthwhile. He couldn't just leave, not when others were counting on him to lead a patrol. He would take his responsibility seriously. Truthfully, he was a bit nervous to be leading, but he would try his best. He was saved from hesitating anylonger by a flustered voice addressing him. Raccoonstrike turned to meet the excited gaze of Foxchaser, and his whiskers twitched with amusement at the young warrior's antics. "Correct, I do need you." He meowed calmly, his tail swishing slowly. "You're coming on a border patrol with Robintail, Cinderpaw, and me." He explained, nodding to where Robintail was. He gave Foxchaser a friendly flick with his tail, then trotted over to meet Robintail. "Ready to go?" He asked the she-cat as he neared. "Cinderpaw's not in camp, we'll find her on our way." And with a quick nod he padded out of camp.

Cinderpaw was coming with them? Foxchaser's heart gave a happy skip. "Great!" He replied joyfully, trying to stop himself from bouncing up and down as they left the camp.

Silverspirit listened to Moonshade,giving a small nod. "I could never see you as being foolish. I think your birth clan is proud of you, for I bet their watching you from Starclan. I could remember as a kit, I would look up to you. You were so strong, and you always seemed to know what to do. No wonder you were made a deputy when you were so young. I just wish I could has seen Thunderclan, when.......you know.....everyone wasn't fighting." She meowed, showing a bit of mixed emotions in her eyes.

Moonshade nodded and her cheeks flushed at Silverspirit's compliments; she looked at her paws. She swallowed, and looked back up at her. "Th-Thank you. I didn't know anyone looked up to me." She blinked her beautiful, dark eyes and said sadly, "Well, Thunderclan was a noble, might clan. It hasn't changed much ever since Timberclan came to be. To me, I like to think that this clan is more like Thunderclan in any way." She smiled at her last comment, trying to lighten the mood. Moonshade's tail-tip flicked as she glanced at the sky in wonder. Then she looked back down, yawning. She wondered what Sunpaw was up to. She hadn't told her she was leaving camp, for Moonshade usually did to her little one. Even though the younger she-cat wasn't a kit anymore, the dark warrior always felt like she was still responsible for her. She couldn't let her go. Her heart practically broke when she'd become an apprentice, for Moonshade had enjoyed being a mother so much; it was the best thing that could've happened to her.

Sunpaw crashed through the brush, scaring off every bit of prey within a hundred yards and feeling a grim satisfaction that she was causing so much trouble. I'm not insignificant, she thought viciously. "Moonshade!" The young she-cat fell silent, straining to hear anything that might point to where Moonshade was. She wandered nearer to the stream, following a distant trickle of sound. She bounded forward, glad to see Moonshade accompanied by Silverspirit, who had always been kind. She opened her mouth to reprimand her mother for her disappearance, but was at a loss for words as she saw the quiet, connected emotions crisscrossing between the two she-cats. Her words died away, and she swallowed. Never before had she witnessed such a touching, deep conversation. She stopped her spring abruptly just within the trees, unable to speak.

Silverspirit smiled, nodding her head. "It's nice that there is no more fighting. Everyone seems to be at peace, even though we may have once faced them in battle. I think Starclan made a wise choice to combine the clans. I just hope the peace continues." She mewed. Silverspirit like the idea that Timberclan was like Thunderclan.

Spiderstar's whiskers twitched in amusement at his deputy's actions towards his apprentice. His attention was diverted after Duststorm had left and assigned another hunting patrol. As the other patrol approached, he pricked his ears. "Two hubting patrols? Excellent. You guys take the half of the territory near the thunderpath, well take the half near twolegplace," he said with a nod at Jaystripe. Then he turned back to Frozenheart, Littlehawk and Flamepaw. "Well check the borders for kittypets while were there," he said, then lead them out into the forest.

She woke instantly at the sound of Jaystripe's voice. She had een in a light sleep already and she stood and stretched, yawning wide. She took long, graceful strides into camp and wandered over to the cluster of cats. She sat a little way away from them, keeping an eye out for the rest of her patrol. She noticed Jaystripe and Dawnfeather, and Seapaw was just emerging from the den. They would almost be able to leave, and she had heard Spiderstar's instructions and nodded to herself. She noticed Seapaw had paused to strike a conversation with another apprentice and called to him. "Come on, Seapaw, you can talk later!"

Seapaw woke slowly when his mentor called to him. As he stood and shook moss from his pelt, he noticed he was the last one awake and the den was empty. This put a bit of haste into his step. Out the entrence he saw Duststorm grooming Flamepaw and laughed as he emerged. To get by, he had to squeeze past Breezepaw so close that their fur touched and he nearly stumbled to end the awkward moment. Then he paused and looked at her. "Good morning, Breezepaw." That is when his mother, Desertbloom, called to him and he smiled bashfully at his denmate. "I have to go... Uh, se you later!" he left at a brisk pace before she had a chance to respond and stood beside Jaystripe as he approached, noticing Desertbloom wandering over as well.

The greatest warrior ever!

Lionpaw is the kind of apprentice that seems to have a endless supply of energy. This may annoy the warriors and it definitely annoyed his mother when she was alive. This lively apprentice also has the determination to match. He will not stop practicing a move until he gets it right. Though their is more to this energetic apprentice then just these two things. He is also compassionate. Whenever someone is down he will try to make them feel better. Despite his good intentions, he sometimes just makes them feel worse.

Lionpaw has a golden tabby pelt. There are three main colors that make his coat up. The first one is gold. This makes up most of his pelt.The stripes are a dark gold to a dark brown. The last main color is white. This color is on parts of his face, chest, and belly. It is also on his tail-tip.

Lionpaw has dull, amber eyes. They usually have a gleam of excitement in them. His emotions show clearly them.

Lionpaw has a strong build. Though a disadvantage to this is that he is not as fast as the some cats.He is the cat to deal out sharp blows, and be able to take some hits. He is a bit large for his age, but it's not too noticeable.

-Robintail-

Robintail rested at the entrance of the camp as she waited for the rest of the patrol. The sun warmed her fur and gave her a little bit of life as she managed to be more and more awake by the second. She looked up at the sky and watched the puffy white clouds roll lazily overhead. She smiled briefly and chuckled a bit to herself. Robintail then looked back down to earth as she heard Raccoonstrike and Foxchaser trotting over to where she was standing. She nodded in reply to Raccoonstrike's question, her big blue eyes now fully opened, before turning to nod to Foxchaser in greeting. "I'm sure we'll run into her if she has run off." Robintail replied briefly in her light voice. Raccoonstrike must not be too happy about his apprentice running off like that, but Robintail was certain that he did not look angry. She stood back up as Raccoonstrike turned to leave and camp and followed after him, turning her head around only slightly to make sure Foxchaser was following as well.

Jaystripe turned his big head over to look at his leader as he spoke. Jaystripe nodded in understanding and memorized the instructions in his head for the patrol. Desertbloom's voice turned Jaystripe's attention over to his apprentice. Seapaw was talking with Breezepaw, his fellow apprentice. Jaystripe grinned remembering his own apprenticeship alongside Robintail. Of course that was a long time ago. They were still just barely out of Wind Clan at that time. When the small tom bounded over and stood beside him, Jaystripe let out a quiet chuckle, admiring the tom's energy. He nodded to Dawnfeather and then back at Desertbloom. "Alright, lets go over to the entrance and when everyone is sure they're ready we'll head on out." He said looking over all of them before padded over to the entrance himself.
